Including Digital and Disc sales, its over $1.51 Billion without Red China or Russia and did things no other film (including Avaturd) has a chance in hell of doing: #1 on Memorial Day & Labor Day Weekends #1 or #2 Digital Sales for 20 Weeks over a period of 5 Months #1 Disc Sales for 3 Months (both DVD & Blu-Ray) #1 Critic & Fan Ratings of 2022 #1 Cost:Box Office Ratio of 8.8 #1 Least CG Minutes of any Billion Dollar Film #1 American Affection for their Military #1 Only Military Film To Reach 1 Billion Dollars Box Office For scale, Cruise's top grossing global film (last Mission: Impossible) did close to what Maverick grossed for US Domestic alone There are almost 53,000 MPAA Certified Motion Pictures since MPAA created in 1935, "Capture Lightening In A Bottle" is very rare, Star Wars: A New Hope is one of very few of those examples The comments ain't about the picture, its about the American movie going publics reaction to the film in tidal wave of vile, insipid and soulless garbage... I watched it on home setup, nice Vizio and H&K sound are with 12" sub didn't suck Subwoof! The Falcon makes the concrete shake!
