| Has anyone tried the Maxim bearing delay buffer system in a H&R DOE or 635? I'm wondering if it noticeably reduces recoil and/or makes it better (less gassy) with a suppressor. Or if it makes it more controllable with an FRT. |

Do you plan to sell any shorter barrels separate? I wanted to buy both 10.5 and 11.5, pencil, chrome lined barrels with the correct A1 height FSB installed. On PSA, I only see your 20” & 14.7” barrels (So far, all the other retro companies lack a chrome lining or they factory pin the barrel with in wrong sight base.) |

Here are a couple of pics of my H&R 653. I am very happy with it. I replaced the grip with a vintage Colt A1, otherwise it is completely stock condition. This is possibly my favorite H&R retro rifle (I have 3 others). Attached File Attached File |

| Hi Mike, new here. I just purchased the slick PSA H&R IDF Special 12.5" AR15. Love it. Feels like a BB gun in hand 😅. I'm trying to get the gas port diameter. PSA customer support got me nowhere. Do you know, or know who to contact? Thanks! |
| Mike, do you happen to know how much the complete 606 weighs? I'm curious how much weight is actually added by that thick barrel over the A1 and later A2/A4 models. I'm mostly interested in the weight without bipod, but weight with the bipod would also be interesting for comparison's sake. |

Was able to score a past blem (black) run of an XM16E1 lower, because I could only get a middy pencil barrel in nitride. Love the H&R lower. Because this had to happen. Say hello to the Bulldog. Attached File |

What's going on with the gray anodizing? I bought a cots A2 lower and a 601 lower. The 601 was so bad that I did not except it. It was not even close to any of the gray uppers and lowers that I have. It had visible lines in the finish that looked like oil lines but was in the finish. It had a gold hue to it. I put it next to the Cots lower and it was very clear that the finish was way off. The Cots lower also is not close at all to any gray H&R receivers that I have. It is like the anodizing didn't take. I'm ok with difference in finish but this is so far off. I didn't get a picture of the 601 but it was not even close to this cots lower. I put some oil on the cots lower hoping that it would get a little darker but it didn't help. I probably should have returned the cots lower also. On a good note, I'm very pleased with the 604, 733, XM177E2 and dissy that I built with H&R receivers.   |

Even Colt guns rarely matched and a significant mismatch was not uncommon. Your gun looks perfectly correct. |

It really doesn't bother me that much. it's just that all my other rifles are so much closer in color. This is the upper that's going to go with this lower. I'm still deciding on how to finish this one. Maybe 727? H&R mutated my BRD into GRD. I really glad that they've done the gray anodized rifles and parts. They are taking up more and more space in my safe while draining my bank account.   |

I hadn’t seen that before, this is such a relief to my ‘tism. I knew the earliest A2s didn’t have tick marks, but I guess they came soon after. I won’t have to worry about tracking down early safety selectors for early A2 builds anymore. |

I haven’t done a 601 because I don’t want to do it halfass. As everyone knows, it will require almost everything to be purpose built to be correct. The cost would be prohibitive |

That makes sense then. I bet it's difficult dealing with crazy retro enthusiasts so I want to say thankyou for being a reliable source for the retro community. People complain all the time about their reciever isn't the right grey or this barrel isn't the right spec but dude if you weren't at least trying it would be so much harder! Looking forward to the 605! - David |
