No pic, but just got done clearing the driveway. Just backdragging with the loader. Hoping to get a good solid base of compacted snow/ice so snowblowing will be easier later on this season. |

Started working on my basement zero range berm. With the angle, it is safe to shoot on, but I'm going to pile more stuff up. Sixteen feet wide. The base Attached File Eight foot log. Grapple is a handy critter. Attached File View from the basement. Aprox 100' if I want to shoot from inside the basement. That stake will come out as it is just supporting an apple I transplanted and will probably die. Driveway marker is there so I don't run over the outlet to the perimeter drain. Attached File |

Cleaned chicken coop. Just found this forum and this thread - lots of fun stuff to see getting caught up. I have a Massy GC1710 that I use maintaining our 10 acre property. This week I've only used it to plow the driveway. Over Christmas my brother and I welded up a carry all and milled some logs for the decking. Once weather is a little more favorable I'll do final assembly on it and get it painted up for spring duties. Attached File Pulled a couple loads of wood up, this should get us through the winter, mix of Red/white Oak, Ash, Beech, Black Cherry and I think Ironwood. That's a 1983 Deere 750 and it went real good through 3" of snow and up the hill to the house in 4x4 and a quick kick down of the rear locker. |

Didn't take any pics moving the unexpectedly heavy sudan hay bales yesterday, so how about a pic from last week I took after asking myself "how in the world they did that?" one morning. I'm used to righting that feeder every morning, but being completely on it's top was a new one for me.  Good time to mention I don't have these problems with the feeders I hillbilly out of IBC totes. I also haven't had to repair the IBC ones. This one I've had to weld back together a few times.vv Attached File |

My parents mow grass with that tractor's big brother, a JD1050 they bought in 1980. The ag tires really aren't that bad unless it's really wet, and I think when it's really wet the turf tires would make a mess too. That said their yard isn't a finely groomed lawn and the ground is mostly fairly hard.

Attached File Cleared the driveway with the 1983 1050. 7’ no frills back blade works well, and was the model offered with this tractor. The tractor was clean, until we had a warm weekend in November and I did some last minute trail brush cutting. |

Picked up a set of Prime pallet forks. They're probably more heavy duty than needed, but priced better than what Kubota wants for a set. Have a lot of stuff I need to move around. Attached File |

The 3038e has way more lift & is a better platform overall. The increased PTO HP is noticable. (sorry no before pic - left phone inside ...) Didn't finish as the rain started back again, so I put things away til later. My dad bought an 850 in '80 and then an '85 850 with a loader about five years ago.

Yesterday I moved 3 truck loads of slag to build a driveway and a pad for a shipping container. Today I paid off the loan for the tractor. I'm ashamed to say that I only have 140 hours on my Kubota L3901. Instagram pics |

Played in the dirt. Found a place with some nice sandy fill dirt that I moved up to the yard. Sketching out a 16x30ish pad to drop a versatube carport on for the tractor and other stuff. Wasn't the place I originally wanted to dig, but the ground is still frozen there. Attached File |

More moving fill at dummy's dirt works. This time I'm getting it from the trial and error drainage pond I put in last year--which actually worked. Need to expand a bit and refine the spillway, but that was a success. Some great sandy/rocky/clay fill under the topsoil layer. Packs down nice and tight which will be great for the versatube building I'm putting in. Attached File Attached File |

Fell and bucked 7 pine trees and one dead oak tree at the top of the driveway. Moved all the tops to the fire pit to burn. Moved the rounds to the splitting pile. Little guy rode with me for most of the day. Still beat and sun burnt from last weekend. Attached File Attached File Attached File |
