When I had my FFL, I had to do a lot of volume with my distributors to get a new or popular rifle. With Ruger, I needed to to buy 3-5 bolt guns to get 1-2 Mini-14s (back in the AWB days). I marked up the minis and sold the bolt guns for cost just to get rid of them. Large volume dealers got preference, which kept them as large volume dealers. Wonder how distributing works today? |

That's fantastic for a factory barrel. That would most likely be over the speed limit for a PRS match, though. Those 105s fly plenty flat at 3110. |

Anyone want a Remington 700 SPS?
(No, not a 'for sale' ad, just being a smart a**) The plan was to put the above mentioned barreled action (sitting in the safe, doing nothing) into a Hunter 700. I'm done waiting on MAGPUL and will now go after a RPR instead, probably in 6.5 Thanks all for the reviews on this new rifle. I agree with the 'game-changer' sentiments, especially for those wanting to get started in the precision discipline |

The company I'm getting the brake from asked for it so I wanted to make sure. They also asked for the length of the threading (tenon?) although they are going with .625". Eta: did yours come with a rail section for a bipod or sling mounts for the keymod rail? |

I asked Ruger if the 20 MOA top rail was removable and they said it was, but they also said they have no plans to make a 0 MOA rail.
TeeRex - Can you confirm the top rail is replaceable? |
