Sanded off the old finish, stained with some varathane and minwax, slapped on a few coats of linseed oil, and did a very light "shading" with a blow torch. Few more coats of linseed oil, few days of drying, and a few coats of semi-gloss clear coat. |

I have been working on rifles for some time and I thought that it would be nice to take a rough yet reliable rifle like the WASR and see just how clean I could get it. Mine isn't as nice as most in this thread. But I like my personal AKs to be a little on the rough side. Cheap, ugly, and functional. All the hallmarks of the Kalashnikov rifle.

New Sig 556R in 7.62X39 is back from ADCO. It got cut back to 16" overall length with a perm attached muzzle brake. The black furniture was swapped for a green set...
