Here's mine , it's a polish kbkg wz. 1960/72. Us made reciever , trigger group, gas piston and muzzle  nut. It has a scope rail off an akml and a polish surplus sling. I still need to refinish the wood to match

Love the work you did on the WASR 10/63. That shade of brown you used is the exact color I'd like to have on mine. Any tips you can share on how you did the refinishing? Thanks

Thanks, it was a mixture of dark brown and dark red rit dye that I applied several times. Then coats of tung oil. I'll take pics of what I used when I get home. I also sanded the bolt carrier to bare metal and refinished with a flat satin high temp paint.

I was trying to imitate the Poly tech I sold

I know the MI MDM is supposed to give you a lower 1/3 cowitness with the irons, does that play true with the RMR?

Yes, it provides a very good co-witness with the RMR.

Thanks, that shade is exactly what I've been looking for.  I'll pick some up and try it out.

Cool. Not sure if I like the color either, but those WASR's need to have the metal refinished too. 1BMF did a great job on his furniture (a few pics above yours), and I think I'll do my wood the same as his. Also been trying to figure out what to do w/ the metal parts. Is the Alumahyde II available in flat black? Also, how much work was it

Thanks

It's a muzzle brake. It's not super concussive and super smooth to shoot.

It may not be real, but it should be noted that of everything in this display, he went straight for the AK without hesitation.
