I've beat that stock up pretty good and it holds firm, it's not a little piece of crappy plastic at all!
now with the cheek rise it acts a lot like how the FN SCAR's cheek weld is so I can have it at the highest setting and it still works since I use the collapsible stock at its full range, the cheek riser being up all the way works well for me At the moment I am looking for a company that will make me a fixed riser that holds flush against the top cover but with that in mind I know I will have to buy the product in bulk. it would look like this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v428/Splitshell/cheekweld_zps0d34d20b.jpg |

I've got TWS topcovers, so no LINCH for me. Your rifle looks awesome and totally non-traditional. Kinda reminds me of this guy's rifle: Originally Posted By dontshootmebrah1:

The PARALINCH hybrid I have there is perfect! It's not hard to replicate paras AKARS cutout slot onto the DTI LINCH.

Since PA and DTI will not mess with each other's product, I decided to mod the DTI LINCH top cover to the PA AKARS rail system.

Wait until I get the IWD set finished. I'm hemming and hawing about the direction I want to take with it. Below is a pic with just a wipe of alcohol. And a "before" pic. Wood cleaned up OK. I didn't go crazy, just a degrease and some BLO. What's funny is that even though the rifle looked unfired, the wood was an obvious re-issue. The serial number side was sanded flat, and about an eighth inch narrower than the other side. I'm assuming it was re-numbered. And by far, the best long rivets I've ever set. It's too bad that I slightly fudged the barrel pin and had to get a pro's help. Dallas Moore is a very skilled man. |

It was a VG apex kit, and as such, the metal has a beautiful patina. I already had the receiver blued, but I'll end up taking most of it off to match. It'll also get a lottery take-off barrel from Centerfire, which looks almost new. |

That kit is awesome. Eventually I may rebuild and refinish, but only if the barrel gets so bad it just isnt shooting at all. That's probably decades down the road. |

Took a few tries but got the holdover down and it was game time. Was able to make some AK converts at the shoot, which is always fun to do. On the draco I took off the krebs peep and tried out a modified rear sight (opened up notch) on the 75-150 yard plates (12") it worked great, a bit tougher on the 200+ steel. So I know my limitations with it now, in reality it's a 5-100 yard rifle. |
