Okay guys... This concludes my picture tour... next time, somebody should at least buy me dinner for all this work... LOL.. just kidding.
Hope you guys enjoy it and see you all next year at Shot Show 2008 in Vegas. |
Chen, it was great meeting you. I've always enjoyed your posts (and AWESOME pictures!), so it was good to put a face with the name. Glad to see you made it home safely. Hopefully, I'll see you next year in Vegas.

Is that for a polymer AK mag? 7.62 russian? the bolt is marked 5.56x45... This rifle is the best thing since sliced bread! My Son and I are going to get 1 each! Please get back with me. |
Looks like. But it can be actually 5.56x45 mag. Some NATO countries, like Poland, adopted 5.56x45 while maitaining overall AK construction (for eg. Beryl assalult rifle from Radom Arsenal). BTW Some of our, Polish, troops in Iraq and A-stan have self made adaptors (made from cutted Beryl mag) that can use USGI magazines in Beryls. This are intended for use in SHTF situation, to be able to use magazines from allied US troops. Montrala |

Thanks for the great pic SMGLee. Great work. Although I'm a little disappointed you didn't take any pics of the Glock Carbine. Did they only have th stealth model there or something? Or were the camera police busting heads when people tried to photograph it?
Clearly MagPul pwn3d the show and bich slapped the SCAR with their new rifle. Looks like MagPul is pretty well the master of its domain now. They have gone above and beyond all their competition if you ask me. |
Great pics. The new stuff looks great even though I am not crazy about the new rifle mount from their video it still looks good. Also, hope you dont get banned for posting AAC stuff on here.
Great post SMGLee.
So which one was your favorite of them all? Masada HK 416/417 FN Scar |
While the Masada is a neat concept it is interesting how awesome it has become in the minds of many. I have played with it at shot and I actually preferred the scar stock although they are both very similar.
Great pictures, thanks!
The one labeled as AAC's .50 suppressor is the wall display of a couple HKs, though. Last time I saw the .50 it was a Solidworks rendering, I'd really like to see the real version! |
The gun you are referring to has a Bulgarian 5.56 AK magazine. |
SMGLee, So this would be essentially a drop in conversion for existing MRP uppers? That would be absolutely out-freaking-standing. Thanks for the pics! |
Outstanding! Unless I missed it, you didn't say who made the mount that the LMT M203 was mounted to (you identified the grip, but not the standalone shoulder / pistol grip adaptor). It wasn't the KAC was it? I didn't think KAC had a version for the rail-mount M203. |

I got first dibs on buying Chen a renowned ShotShow-in-Vegas lunch. What will it be ? A hot dog...or a different colored hot dog ? Jeeminy, the food at Orlando... ML |
And how about those lines? Long waits for overpriced bad tasting food! |

Hey is that 3rdtk? |
Not to mention the traffic coming out of theplace.. fighting with all the tourists from disney, Universal and Seawrold.. one night took me 60 minutes to go one and half mile. Can't wait till Vegas... and I hear the next eight years... yooora |

That is actually a 100% Inconel flash suppressor on the SCAR rifle. Great pics by the way, I always look forward to seeing SMGLee pic posts after the SHOT shows every year. |
Sweet...cant wait until some of that stuff is actually available!!

Well if you had a HAT for me I would have told you go across the street to "The Peabody's B-Line Restaurant" where they had top shelf YUMYUM. BTW - you are much taller in person. Mark I hope you know I am breaking your balz. You have great products, and displayed a very exciting exhibit. Best of Luck. L_d LEE - great coverage and pix. Thanks. |

SMGLee,Thanks for the great pix |

LionDog, Dog gone it, on a good day, I am every bit of 5'9" and that's an optimum height ... and it keeps me from snagging into tree limbs etc. ML |
You got me beat by a 1/4" - but when stretched on a a rack still 1/4". Damn genetics. I always claim 5'9" being a true fan of rounding off. |

I worked pretty damn hard on this thread, I rather you don't turn this into a bashing of some kind. ARMS or not.. At least Brain was kind enough for someone that bad mouthed ARMS to take pictures and hang out a bit. That sure wasn't my reception at KAC by Reed the third...
Thank you. Edited to clarify my statement.. |
Not at all - too much respect for Mark AND you. |
