I have an extra QRP 1 if you wanna swap mounts to have the correct one. Let me know.

Do you know, what the cowitness height is on a QRP 1?

People argue both lower 1/3 and absolute. It really is kind of a mix of both (in the middle for lack of a better explanation)

But in my opinion, it is much closer to "everybody elses" lower 1/3 than it is to absolute. I call it lower 1/3.

I run the QRP 1 still on my standard issue clone, it's not a bad mount except the knob sticks out 3 feet. I always smack that fucker with the heel under my thumb when attempting to slap the bolt catch.

The QRP2 will fly nowadays tho. I definitely remember seeing pics of the QRP2 on Army Comp M4's

Hard to tell. I painted and stripped it since then, but you could ask him if he butt stroked anyone with it?

Turns out 1/4 can of break free isn't enough to strip a rifle. I thought there was more in there. Shitty fake PEQ for looks and to make me feel better until I can swing a real one. Unsure if I'll strip completely or just paint over the mess I left. And I left the light off for the picture.

Eh, shape-wise it actually does look the part. No shame in your case.

It would only be shameful if you thought it was legit. Lol you'll get an ATPIAL-C tho. Keep pluggin' away at it. Trades are out there too, spread the word BP needs an ATPIAL-C.

Between this and the B2 thread, they have become my favorites. I had my BCM M4 setup with KAC ras, 952, KAC 2-600 micro and LMT sopmod stock and regret getting away from it.
Planning on parting with my BFH BCM upper with KMR to setup a block ii and would like to get the M4 setup again.
Where can I find a Fixed front sight with hand guard retainer and appropriate delta ring assembly?

CQD front sling mount is by far the most common "end user installed" front sling mount on SOPMOD guns that we have seen in pics. Speak of the devil, here's mine.

(And I'm not sure on the KAC question)

CQD master race. Bought my third today. Did end up with a DD QD on my Mk12 though due to cost and I just happened to have some QD swivels sitting around unused.

Hell yeah. And you have to make sure to mount it upside down to be 100 percent sure that you're tier Juan and CRANE approved.

I just did that to my Block 1.5. I kind of hate how it looks but it pushes the sling out a little farther and that's what I wanted.

Yeah it does look a little fucky. On the pics CQD takes of their mounts they have it right side up, Crane sends out URG's with them upside down. Which does make sense as when the rifle is slung, the HK hook will rub on the flat portion rather than the gun. But personally I embrace finish wear so it's a moot point.

I flipped mine upside down to match Crane and rustle Jimmies.

Well my original Block I clone is no more.  Rebuilt it into a 727.  The lower is now waiting patiently in the safe for the .gov to grant me permission to turn it into a CQBR.

Still have my all Colt Block I so it's not to bad.  Going to move the ACOG to the Colt and the Aimpoint/Wilcox will go to the Block I CQBR.  Still not sure about BUIS.  Might swap the KAC micro to the Block I and put the Matech on the CQBR.
