My first AR in almost 10 years. Lust set in at the local shop and I had cash. Never really shopped for any lately. No handle but MI BUIS and neat little Eotech. Still don't know what model it is. Bought new condition w/o box as pictured. This is my M&P 15A with a 3x scope. I have since replaced the scope with the Original Troy rear flip BUIS and an Eotech 553. 2500+ rounds and not a single failure to feed or fire. Yes you can. Call the Smith and Wesson Customer Service Dept. and they will sell you one with the Logo for around $170.00 |

No they do not mark the lowers with the T anymore. I explanation I got from S&W, was that "they stopped due to all the different variations being made". |
The silver automatic to the left is the same as my duty gun except for ours are D/A only. |
I think that the only model they have that has flip-up front sights are the T's and they have FF rails. |
Here is my M&P15T. This is an older picture, has since had a single point sling added and a different light. This was my primary patrol rifle for almost a year. Now it is my BUG (rifle). ETA (PP): Wow, that is an old image. The rifle now has a Magpul enhanced trigger guard and a Hogue grip. I need to shoot new pics. |
hey, Nice gun! i got a 15A a few days ago with serial number 61,9xx. Do P-mags work in your gun, i am still unsure if mine will accept them. Thanks flyboy |

Had to add mine here now. The first is one I had until about Christmas. Recently joined the AR Club - couldn't be happier. I originally was trying to get my hands on an LMT - but I was tired of waiting so I went w/ an M&P15FT (I live in a restricted state - hence the FT version). I've taken it out twice and will be at the NY State match this weekend - it's a lot of fun to shoot and for the price - a very well stocked and made gun. It came w/ the Troy rail, front / rear folding sights, rail covers and a plastic case. I added the magpul grip, BO tactical latch, the Eotech and the Magpul trigger guard. (All very easy to install). The finish is perfect. After zeroing the iron sights and teh Eotech - the groups are very, very tight. It addition, this is one of the lighter guns I've help that has a tactical rail - Can't go wrong!! The only modification I may make in the future will be to the trigger - I don't mind it, the it is a heavy pull. (I was testing out the vertical grip - I prefer not to have it on this gun - no need becasue it's very light and w/ the rail covers, I find it more comfortable to just grip the rail) A shout out to Joel at Code4tactical - great guy to deal with. Gonna try Monarch and Win Q3131 next week and see if my rifle likes it. |

My new S&W M&P 15A and first AR-15. Had her a little over a month now. SN 69XXX -- $899-rebate. 800+ rounds so far (Remington, Winchester and Wolf, all 55 grain). Shoots better than I can (2 inch or so groups at 25 meters, all shots on 12 inch Steel plates at 200 meters). The Troy BUIS is really nice. No problems, Properly staked, F marked front sight, nice finish, GI Mags fit fine (not tried pmags), No failures to fire or extract. I'm keepin it simple right now..may add a scope later.
