Spare earplugs, front sight tool, a spare round to use as a punch. I ought to get a dummy round instead, but I'm cheap.

I have the Magpul MIAD with the extra bolt/firing pin in the grip.  I keep some lube in my Sopmod stock.
I don't see the need for batteries for my Aimpoint Comp M4 with the 7-8 year battery life.  I have back up irons anyway.

My MIAD grip came with the ability to hold 5 extra bullets but I'm hoping to switch it out for a cr123 battery holder. It would be a good place to hold copies of tax stamps.

On my ARs, a MIAD bolt and fire pin core (w/ bolt and firing pin).  On my SCAR, a MIAD core with 2 CR123's (since the stock only holds 2 123's in non-waterproof storage).  The spare SCAR bolt in in the TD stubby VFG.  I don;t expect the SCAR bolt to fail, but Just In Case(tm).
