Your rear sight appears to be on backwards. Nice stick regardless.

i think the backward BUIS gives it personality.

So I just got the last couple pieces to the upper today. Getting the FH pin and welded on Monday.
- Colt M4 upper
- Colt Late M16 BCG
- PRI Gas Buster CH
- DD RIS II FDE
- Colt M4 SOCOM 14.5" barrel
- USGI Carbine Gas tube
- DD MK12 Gas Block
- Surefire SF3P

How bad does the TLR-1 lens get blasted in that position?
FWIW I have a TLR-1 on my SD/HD Glock 19 and the lens takes a real beating.  The good news is it cleans off completely.  I keep a coating of Frog lube on the lens portion and know the blast residue wipes right off.

I have seen more installed backwards in person than correctly, odd. DannerTrax

It's not too bad actually. Went shooting today and it held up fine. I purposely moved the light back a tad to clear the ports on the brake. I use it on my glock 17 and it gets little to no contact. But that's probably because  I'm running a threaded barrel. The extra length keeps the light clear from any blast.

That's awesome, I love the used look.

My next AR is going to be a Block II that gets rattle-caned a reddish-brown, and then the used patina will come naturally.

It has a BCM Gunfighter comp on it, with a mid-length gas-system. It is an incredibly soft-shooting AR.

NICE! Looks like a good candidate for a 5 lb rifle.

Very nice. Looks to be very light. Have you weighed it yet? ...without the EOTech 512(as I'm sure you know, the 512 is relatively heavy).

I also dig the handguard.

Rear BUIS?

I like the muzzle device. I think it only makes since to have both functions. At least for a rifle destined to be used for SD. Very much resembles in design the Griffin Arm M4SDII Comp/Hider(I have one mounted currently and have been very pleased with its performance), but looks more refined. Have you had a chance to use it yet? And if so, what are your impressions?

I've just painfully become aware they've recently revised the Griffin(I have the old version w/o the relief cuts into the hider prongs). Apparently to address the one main complaint.. its relatively heavy.

Again, nice rifle.

Thanks! It's my girlfriend's build and she preffered the EoTech. Without it, the weight was right at 6lbs. Local shop didn't have a rear MBUS Pro in stock at the time, I've still got to get one. It shoots great. Very flat, low concussion and soft recoil for an AR.

Might as well post this one again before it's no longer a 14.5 pinned to 16:

Complete KAC factory dimpled 14.5" Carbine.

It's now an approved SBR, so I'm having the currently pinned AAC Blackout removed, and an AAC brake installed in its place.

This is about to turn into a hard use rifle with a dedicated AAC Mini 4. The brake will greatly protect the can.

MGM Switchview.  I have a discontinued model # 1740SV2N3V1. However, I think there are two different models you can choose from for the Mk6.

Shared knowledge with her for a day or two, then let her go about building her own upper and lower receivers when she got all the parts in.

https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-frc1/t1.0-9/p417x417/1922333_491467957556336_459274548_n.jpg

She went with a 14.5" LW barrel, Noveske NSR, and a 1.5" Battlecomp to have a build that is lightweight, pointable, with minimal felt recoil.
