Redfield 3-9X-50mm for $205 with the Accu-Range reticle, totally awesome optic for the money. On Burris XTR rings.

Do any of these budget to mid-range variable optics have a bright enough reticle to use like a Aimpoint/Eotech at 1X?
It seems all the sub-$500 ones only have illumination for low-light/dark shooting. Konus M30, Weaver 1-3X, Millet DMS, Leatherwood CMR, Bushnell 4200, etc., all seem too dim for fast 1X stuff (I have no experience with 1-4s, just ACOGs and Red-Dots), but I'd like to see if there was a nice affordable middleground option to sell me on the concept). . Would I just have to go up to the Trijicon TR24 to get a useful 1X red-dot type sight out of a variable 1-4X? |

Here is my Che-otech or Chinese made Eotech on my S&W M&P15-22. It is not as good as my real 511, but for $57.00 delivered to my department, it is a really good knock-off of a 552. Even came with the flip up cover. I am very happy with it, but I should have bought a NightForce! The link to where I got it is at the bottom of the post. I highly recommend this for .22 AR's.
Sorry the pictures are not the best. I was cheap with my camera too! http://i939.photobucket.com/albums/ad232/CopwithGlock/Guns/CIMG0012.jpg http://i939.photobucket.com/albums/ad232/CopwithGlock/Guns/CIMG0008.jpg It is kind of hard to tell, but it has bullet drop compensated dots. http://i939.photobucket.com/albums/ad232/CopwithGlock/Guns/CIMG0010.jpg http://airsoft-club.com/shop/aiming-sight/red-green-dot-sight/holographic-tactical-552-type-red-green-reflex-dot-sight |

The eye reliefe is really good, its perfect every tiem i shoulder my AR, doesnt matter what length of have my stock, or what magnification. Seeing how every factory in china goes around and copies eachother's designs when it comes to looks I wouldnt even compare the CenterPoint to Leapers, especially considering that the centerpoint isnt illuminated, which the chinsee love to do, ignore the quality and add as many features as they can to entice people to buy them. Not sure what kind of warranty Leapers gives, but Centerpoint has Crosman offering a lifetime warranty. Leapers is Centerpoint, rather, Centerpoint is Leapers. IF you check out the Leapers lineup, you can find every center point scope in the lineup. For example http://www.opticsplanet.net/leapers-accushot-compact-3-12x44-30mm-tube-side-wheel-adjustable-turret-swat-range-es.html Leapers is not Centerpoint. Leapers may re-sell or copy thier scopes. But, Centerpoint is made by crossman, the BB gun guys, and they are an American company. Not a bad scope. I have two and have been using them for years with zero issues. +1 for Centerpoint +1 for Vortex Strikefire +1 for Redfield ..... damn fine company |
