We went spelunking saturday. Friday night my buddies went to wal-mart to get flashlights. When I was there I noticed they had a "brinkman" lithium flashlight for 20$. Looks almost exactly like a surefire g2. It is very similar in lighting also.

I put this thing through the test spelunking also. It was sumerged in 1 foot deep water for 20 minutes, while being dragged in a BDU pocket. Still worked. It was getting dark and I was trying to decend a small rock overhang (7 foot). I slipped dropped the light and managed to grab a tree. So I didn't fall. The flashlight survived. And I also hit it against some cave walls very hard. It still works.

I was wondering if anyone knew if this light would work with the first samco mounts? The ones made for the g2? I was going to order a surefire but I think I am going to stick with this one for awhile. It served me well.
