They said they could hook it up and to give them a call. This Colt 14.5 gov profile holds well if I do my part and don't let it heat up too much. Not that I put it through hell, but I know this setup could do more. Time to stop fucking around and get the Vari-X III in A203s with reducers on it and push it. |

For any that were curious, the b5 precision stock is really nice....if you only ever shoot prone....and use a monopod.
I received one yesterday. It is uncomfortable shouldering offhand and when prone it's too "short" to effectively use a bag, it's definitely meant to use a monopod. I have it in the EE if any of you homies wanna try it. |

True. Even for those of us who didn't serve. I remember the day of 9/11 me and two friends were camped out in the woods with AK's like we were preparing for Red Dawn. We were 14-15 years old lol. And by AK's I mean mak90's lol. |

Closer than a Simonov with a duckbill 30 and a choate monte carlo 20200729_101218 by Professor Horseyhead, on Flickr Function test went great. Scoped myself with the .450 Bushy though (forgot to lock the F93 stock so it collapsed immediately and wholly when i fired ) |

Any plans to add an optic or anything else? Not going to lie, Always had a weird obsession with the A4, and loved them. Kind of see your Rifle, and Wissota's as trying to maximize, and update the M16 to still make it a viable platform that is capable of still meeting today's standards and equipment into the 21st Century, which by all means it definitely is in Standard A4 form, even in A2 I would concede as well. To see this concept like yours and wissota's I'm very much digging it. Think I'm going to start collecting parts for something similar. Any suggestions for a 20" Barrel? |

Probably get an RCO-A4 for this one since they're calibrated for the 20" barrel. I had an M16A4 MWS my first few years in the Army. I always preferred the M16A4 over the M4/M4A1 since I couldn't stand the 7" handguard. I know everyone calls them muskets but they really aren't that long. Cool note, it's the exact same weight as the M16A4 MWS URG. This one has a Colt AR15A4 barrel. |

Alright, I'm in the middle of building a Force Recon clone.
However, I stumbled upon a KAC RAS 2 for a good price. What carbines did this handguard find its way onto? |

Way off topic: I'm thinking about getting into reloading. Any tips or suggestions? |

anyone know where that picture of a .mil GWOT rifle with an ALG EMR is? I think it had a Razor 1-6 and a Badger Ordinance mount on it if I'm not mistaken... not sure if it was a V2 or V3

Any tips or suggestions? View Quote Get a reloading manual. Learn about accuracy nodes, ocw, and ladder tests. Get a chrono. Read up on fast and slow burning powders and what is optimal for the barrel you are loading for. If bulk loading get a progressive press. If accuracy is the goal get a single stage and don't skimp on components. Consistency is king! |
