Very good dealer. |

Well turns out the 13.2” Larue quad I got was a fake. Sent it back to the seller and got a refund. Larue said it’s a 2 month back order. I have a 20” 1-7.7 twist Krieger on the way so now I gotta figure out what I want to do with it. It’ll be cut down so that it sits flush with an AEM5, but what handguard should I go with? I have a URX 3.1 and a 15” MK4. Kinda leaning MK4 and cutting the rail for a PRI or Wilson flip up front sight.

They have a policy against counterfeit items so once I found out, the guy returned the money and took it back. Got the Krueger off there too. |

That's my vote, but only for the length. |

Newer internals, same body as the Comp M2. 9000 is also a solid choice. IIRC someone in here (might have been the other thread) used a 9000 and it's wildly similar. I've even tossed around the idea of selling my 5000 and getting a 9000. |

Scored a Ballistic advantage 11.5” for $85 from Primary Arms, so I finally built up the URX II that’s been sitting in the parts pin. Had to drill through the rivets for the heat guard cause I’m gonna be pinning the G block. But here she is. Thinking either a ta31 or Comp M2 for this one. After the form 1 suppressor I’ll be going for a Form 1 lower.

View Quote Correct lower is “M16 A2 Carbine”. Correct barrel is typically an A1 pencil profile at 14.5 as the old AEM suppressor could be ran with a 14.5 (See early versions of Colt 723/727 rifles). Nowadays you can get away with a 12.5 govt. or M4 barrel as that will flush fit the AEM5. Gordon carbines and OGS rifles are just awesome, simple rifles with everything you need. It’s a testament to a bunch of badass guys throwing together a combination of the rifles that were available to them along with the new technology of that time period. |
