We I We need a video of that BFS in action. I'm on the fence about ordering one right now. sorry but no video it did run good with both the 13" upper and my commando upper. i took the bfs out of the nodak lower and dropped it into my kac lower last night , as long as the mailman drops off my aim lightweight carrier tomorrow and the brown truck drops off my case of imi i'll be going back to the range tomorrow night to get a little more trigger time with it. i'll try to get some video emptying a mag , it will be a short video there's a 100+ page thread on the franklin armory bfs and a couple of threads starting up about the fostech echo trigger that's coming out with some good info on the triggers. both have long backorder and preorder list's though. the only downside so far that i've run into is keeping it fed , it will really eat into your ammo stash quick. edit to add a pic for the pic thread |

Any current "go to" sources for the older style red dot units, such as the Elbit Falcon?
My project will have to be based around an A2 upper, as that's all I have available - so a unit that attaches to the forward edge of the carry handle has high priority. IF I could source an ARMS #68? type mount that'd work too as I have a few Aimpoints that could be used. Really trying to get away from the "scope on top of a carry handle" option; to me that isn't an option its a bad compromise Great thread - taken me several weeks on & off to get up to this point. |
