You sure?  I have only seen the N1 stocks issued.  Those are not N1 stocks.  I have 3 of them and saw 1/2 the issued M4s with the N1 while deployed as late as 2013.

Just picked up a second Colt N1 stock for my other twin grand daughter's M4ergy.  GDs are 7 yos and love to shoot.  Course dad and grandpa are 18Z Special Forces

One down, one more to finish.  Just need another lower and TIME home to finish.  And when they're older they get each get a KAC RIS to make it a Block I. (couple CAR15 thinner parts for the young girls)

Those are N1 stocks!  Those were/ are issued.  I also used one in 2013. The ones in the link for 50 are the cheap fiber stocks that do not have N1 or the reinforcement on them.  If any of you were issued the ones in the link I would be surprised.

My second grandson is only (other son's first) is only 6 mos old so have some time.  Here's my 10 yo grandsons AR.  Started like above but then his dad added the SOPMOD stock, SSA trigger and Geissele rail (Mk16 I think).  He's going for the URGI route, LOL.

Ha!  Right on.  My son knows that when he has children, their names will be added to the firearm trust.  I think he is just being stingy and selfish LOL
He always jokes about the firearms collection he will one day have.
Very nice, brother.  Always love to see the rifles for the kiddos

And can you imagine going featureless?

Sorry, not happening. I'd rather sell them all and go M1 Garand, Garand-thumb, Sir!

ETA: that is until they ban all semi-autos here in CA,

Hopefully SCOTUS will cock slap Feinstein's face when they get too far out of line. CA is a lost cause regardless tho.  It is time to leave my friend.

BTW I didn't realize you had actual M16A1's when you were in Italy. Did you just have to remove the sear and swap in a semi FCG?

(Re: CA - I know )

M16A1s: in Italy, you can buy them once demilitarized to semi auto. It is a reversible modification, but... you know the consequences (same as here).
You can buy them legally at any gun shop. Gun shops get them from government approved gunsmiths that will demil to semi-auto and certify compliance.

This way, you don't have to destroy them (or the lowers).

Keep in mind: in Italy (also known as Shitaly), uppers are also considered as a firearm part and have their own serial number etc.

(sorry guys for derailing)

I do remember though that some Colts were unmarked? Read it somewhere in the past? At all possible or I was scammed years ago, when I bought it?

My first AR / post AK snob. I recently acquired this unfired, wrapped in plastic 6920 and couldn't help myself. Waiting for my 14.5" barrel and am unsure if the KAC 200-600 BUIS would fit as legit for block I. Planning to swap out to a T1 and jump to block I.5 soon.

Block I were issued with a KAC 300m folding rear sight and a KAC RIS handguards.   However, Block 1/1.5s can still be found throughout the force still and big Army has pretty much copied it as the M4A1 MWS.  RIS has changed to the RAS handguards and rear BUIS to MaTech.

Swapped the A1 grip for an experienced A2, dropped the Comp m4, and replaced with an M2 in a Wilcox mount, also got rid of the gas buster and put a standard ch on it.

Yup. Had to go that route; they wanted me to either register or go featureless.

I'd rather sell everything or move out of state (which I can't do, yet). My AR15s must look like AR15s as much as possible.
