Need help identifying this single side sling plate, looks similar to a single side ergo(which I’m not sure even exist) because of the flush bottom, but appears longer in height and narrower in width. It’s not dd or gg&g. Anyone know the manufacturer? Attached File |

This is about how far the bayonet will go on the SF mounts. This is the closed tine flash hider, and it does about the same on the Warcomp and 3 and 4 prongs. Pic thread: picked up a 6920 that I am working on making an early GWOT blaster. Waiting on a 14.5” barrel. Waffle stock gets here Saturday, the VLTOR is there as a replacement for the gross Colt Defense stock that was on it. Tracking down an RAS for it probably as well.

I’ve put together an entirely new upper around this SOCOM barrel, so I might as well grab another 6920 lower and put the spare upper on that one. One ACOG, one Aimpoint. Pic thread-       Used the SF hider so I could put my RC2 can on. Looking for an RAS to put on this one, the other upper will stay pretty conventional. |

Yep, this is the superior configuration. I have a Colt upper and barrel on the way to build a Comp M2 upper, but the ACOG will be my primary for certain. And that CAR stock is growing on me more and more as I shoot it. Great for getting around winter jackets. SOPMOD stocks just grab onto my jacket while trying to shoulder and unshoulder. I built an Aimpoint Comp M2 upper to complement my ACOG upper. Just need a KAC VFG (I think I have one at the bottom of a parts bin) and to put a 951 light on there instead of the 962. I'm exceedingly satisfied with this pair of uppers and lower. And as I was handling and shooting these, I am again reminded of how excellent the CAR stock is.  " />

Here is my attempt at a SOPMOD rifle, sitting on top of my TEOTWAWKI cosplay eBay MOLLE nerdiness My Colt M4A1, SureFire flash hider, DD RISII, SureFire Scout, TD Stubby, EOTECH 512, and B5 stock. I need the pressure switch for the Scout and some sling mounts. I’m gonna get me the VTAC slings, just cause that’s what I’m most familiar with. Attached File |
  Slight change in plans. Now working on PreWOT and GWOT M4geries. Going to switch out the 16” for a 14.5” and I’ll probably leave the OEM handguards on. Decided to pull out an RX01 and use that instead of the M68. obsolete, but kind of nostalgic for the mid- late 90s. Working on a few other small bits like the MaTech and some others. |
