Well I decided to quit being a nancy boy and paint the PR. I think my biggest hesitation was the fact that this rifle is still brand new... Never been fired. In fact, I haven't pulled the charging handle back more than a half dozen times until today (basically only pulled it back prior to handling for the few times I've taken pics). But, here it is... I'll take better pics with the 7D soon.
I'm probably not going to paint my Block II, though... Funny story here... I recently had a break-up because we thought we wanted different things in life (I wanted marriage, kids, and to move to Idaho, she didn't) but I'll cut to the chase: We're working on things and I invited her over for Game of Thrones last night. While we're sitting there, she looks over at the dining room table and then quickly looks back at the TV. I notice and ask her what's wrong? "Um, are those panties sitting on the chair by the table?" "No, no, no! It's a thigh-high fishnet stocking!" "Oh, okay. I thought it might have been someone's panties." Only the significant other of an arfcommer would immediately understand why a fishnet stocking (that wasn't hers) wouldn't be cause for concern |

I don't typically dig painted rigs, but think it's a good look on PRs. And don't get me started with Game of Thrones. I'm still fuckin angry how things went down last night. |

I'm digging it, Will. I think the PR is a rifle that always looks better painted for some reason.

It just had such a rough, rugged style to it and I think the paint job helps it look more like the tool that it is. Unfortunately that one has been a safe-queen thus far. I'm going to have to break it in real soon. |

Anyone know where to find an SU-230? I hate the civilian reticle and don't want to paint it...I spoke with a dealer mentioned the SU-230 would only have 1 year warranty if I was able to find one
If I can't find one, think I'm just going to have to settle for an Aimpoint T1 2MOA (saves me money) I know an Eotech would be more clone like.. XPS should of been better. What is the jazz with the Trijicon SRS? |

For the guys using the Gen 2 B5 sopmod stocks....how are they on the buffer tube?
I have a Gen 1 and this thing is horrible to adjust. So I'm about to grab a Gen 2 but before I do I'd like to know how they slide on the buffer tube. |

Which do y'all think look better on the Block II; Fde or Black B5 Sopmod? I'd prefer LMT fde but too much $ and impossible to find used. I'm inclined to go Fde since black stocks get smokin hot Real quick in the sun down here. B5's Fde is more like light sand colored though. Decisions decisions...

Just wanted to see what those who had the two colors thought. I'm actually a big fan of the CAR stock but I'm thinking a Sopmod will balance the rig out much better. |

Any sightings of a 522 on a Phased Replacement rifle in the wild? Probably going to paint the rifle anyway, so the $150 for 553 color could go toward a weapon light.
