I'm looking for ideas for building up my new PSA mid-length ultra
lightweight upper and this thread has provided some great inspiration. At this point I'm looking at a retro inspired build with either a C7 or A2 upper. For you guys that have used fixed carry handle uppers, any concerns with the F sight base? I'd think little to no impact, but want to confirm. Build list so far... PSA 16" Midlength 5.56 CHF Ultra Lightweight Upper (in hand) DPMS C7 or Colt A2 upper (in hand) LRB Arms stripped lower (in hand) Palmetto State Armory Classic LPK w/Geissele G2S FCG (in hand) RRA olive drab A2 furniture set (something different than the rest of my black rifles; on order) |

Delt Ton upper Arrived in quick order. I think 3 days from build start even with a delay on a back ordered part! Just finished putting the lower together and figuring out the single point sling adapter for the rear stock. Trigger is awesome. Will post the rest of the pics tomorrow and a price sheet. Holosun is still on the way

Awesome. I have been toying with using an A2 tube but I think your idea is better. For the front end I want to just run a C channel for the top over the gas tube and just a rail section on the bottom to attach a forward grip. Pretty much a naked barrel
