For the above question

I went to Harbor Freight and got a real cheap set of crow foot wrenches and ground the one that fits down thin with a side grinder, but the bicycle wrenches is an excellent idea

Can't find the pics I had saved of all the Larue stuff.

The one that comes to mind was they were all on a firing line prone wearing either DCU or flight suits at least three visible LT150's in the pic.

I've heard of NTCH shooting, but this guys charging handle is buried in his nostril! Can't be good on the lungs.

I had to take about .150’’ off of the bayonet lug so the can would seat all the way but it clears now.

Didn't expect to see the Hogue stock there. I have one on a non-clone rifle that I like.

Two of these count. Not clones but closish. Mod 0ish and Mod 1ish. My two favorite rifles. The Mod 1 is a DD. The Mod 0 is a Colt HBAR barrel.

Been wanting to put one of these on my block 2, but I already have barely any gap with a 4 prong. I love the A2 look, the 4 prong on the ris2 doesn't look very good imo, although it's clone correct so whatcha gonna do

I can just feel the super purist cloners' rage through my phone screen.

Done for now (ha)

Swapped out the afg for a TD subby, got a warden as a placeholder for the RC2. Debating if I even give a shit enough to squirt some paint on the receiver or not.
I might grab an optic riser, as I find myself cranking my neck, and not getting on target smooth and consistently from low and high ready now with a PC.
It spends a lil time as a trunk gun when I'm doing traffic control on roads where I know bears are running around. 30 rounds of m855 is better than nothing

Have any SOF groups used the Noveske MK18 Mod 1 upper?  I never even knew that Noveske made a MK18 upper but apparently they did in 2012, and maybe other years.  The odd thing though is that they used a 10.5” barrel instead of the 10.3”.  Does anybody have any knowledge as to its use by any SOF groups?  Any links and/or pics would be greatly appreciated!

I don't think I've ever seen your builds pre-paint. Although you may have posted a pic during/shortly after painted or repainted. Did your mod 0 have a ris like that one does?

Actually built two Mk18 Mod 0.  One with RIS and other RAS.  Here breaking down Mod 0 and Mod 1 for a deep cleaning.  If you paint a A2 PG it's tacky feeling.  Burrowed a Mk17 SCAR PG.  Here's the RAS.  I painted the uppers pretty much identical so hard to tell at a glance when going thru my thousand of pics.

Those were the pics I thought I remembered you posting. Do you happen to have any insight into what went into the navy's decision to request odd numbers that count from the fsb? Seems like an odd request since the upper receiver starts at 0 and counts up from the charging handle.

Edit- I’ve found with rustoleum camo paint, it doesn’t get tacky on the pistol grip if you follow the recommended spray conditions and do a very light coat/s. Also, the more glossy the paint is, even if it’s satin, the more likely it is to be tacky. Flat and matte paints tend to be on the drier side.

No clue on the reasoning on T marks.  Good tip on Rustoleum, except didn't have that just USGI spray paint

Is a no-selector-stop lower THE correct or the MORE correct option versus one with stops?  There’s a Colt M4A1 carbine, CR serial number, lower that I’m considering buying but it has stops.
