Yes. In the very last pic currently listed in this thread.

But the grip in the pics listed in question is far from a BCM.

My V5 with a single point I made out of a single piece of 550 cord. Safariland light, A.R.M.S. 40L back up sights, cheapo Barska red dot for now. It works!

My DD M4V5 boomstick

I replaced the fixed sights with Tritium flip-sights and removed the tape switch for the traditional push cap. To me keeping the electronics as "analog" as possible makes them more robust. Tape switches can be finicky when damaged.

I'd like to try a 3x Magnifier as opposed to a 1x4 optic. I'm happy with the T-1, so I'd rather add to the T-1.

Will the markings on the side be easily worn off?

How do you like Primary Arms? I'm looking to get a RDS for my new DD (my first AR-15) and am going back and forth between PA and Aimpoint...
I'd say 95% of my use will primarily be for plinking paper and steel.
I'm looking for something reliable, that will hold a zero, and I don't mind saving up for an Aimpoint, but if I get cat something close, the more I can save the better.

DDM4V3.  The bolt lug broke so she now runs a BCM bolt.  I have a new barrel here waiting for this one to shoot-out, but it still holds <MOA off bags.  My favorite rifle.

Was it a DD bolt that sheered a lug? After how many rounds?

Yes, a DD bolt - the original bolt that came in the gun.  The lug didn't shear, but cracked on the front face where the lug meets the circular portion of the bolt.  The crack extended about 1/3 the width of the lug and probably the half the width of the lug axially.  It was one of the lugs adjacent to the extractor.  I had somewhere near 15k rounds through it at that time.

Did you send the bolt to DD? Supposed to be a lifetime on everything that came with the gun.

I did not send it to them. The thought never even crossed my mind.  I have beat the snot out of that gun and I just wrote it off to wear-and-tear and moved on. ...just like gas rings or the extractor spring; a casualty of using the gun.

I was just mentioning it because this is a DD thread and essentially the internal workings of that gun are no longer DD (BCM bolt/carrier, Geissele trigger, Vltor buffer tube, etc.).

I know your asking about the red dot but if their 3x magnifier is any indication I'm sure it'd be fine for the purpose. Clear glass, quality materials and good craftmanship. I'm very satisfied.
ETA: guess I trimmed it a little too much.

Thanks for the info. 15k is a lot of rounds for a bolt. I think I can handle that.
