Can anyone tell me more about this C7 upper and if it's Diemaco? I know it's Kaiser Colt but there doesn't seem to be much info on them. I've heard that the "DK" marked ones are actually Bushmaster/DPMS carry handle forge markings and people would get them confused. Also, what kind of barrel markings would be on one attached to this upper originally?

Hoping to get some insight on this SP1, which I believe was made in 1980 - includes Colt Carry Handle Scope. One of the patrolman I work with just lost his Dad. He has a really nice SP1 to offload, and has been bugging me to buy it. I love the older Colts, but the odd front take-down pin and I'm assuming 1/12 twist barrel are a turn off. I'm torn. The A1 birdcage was introduced in 1967. Lots of people replaced them on SP1 's because owners thought it was more of an iconic Vietnam war look. |

    This has been sitting in our armory forever. It hasn't been fired much at all. We won't put it into service, or I should say, I forbid some knuckle dragger putting their hands on it. There was a suggestion of trade or consignment. I'm pretty sure it's more valuable to sell, but either way, I'm not sure of what we should be looking at. Pretty sure, it's pre 94. Would appreciate any input. Thanks Jay |

Any idea how much a salty Colt Harvey A1 upper is worth? I recently purchased a complete URG with this upper built out with repro parts and am wondering if it would be worth replacing this upper with a repro upper, or just keeping it and shooting the URG as is?

This is all metal, no coating. I’m not sure if this buffer tube came with it or not, probably so but it’s been a few years since I got it, probably a decade ago or more and it may be something that I took off of another AR15. I didn’t see any markings on it, but if you have any idea where to look let me know. I think that I’m going to sell it, but for now I just want some idea of what it’s worth, even a rough guess would be nice.

Bought these 2 a while ago. Aimpoint 5000XD has a modern MGW rail and modern made springfield mounting rings that I heard was the correct model used in the 90s but I could be wrong though. Silver Aimpoint 5000 full kit was also hard to pass up. https://imgur.com/a/6gdhMs0 |

What is the going price on parts kits now-a-days? I have a Model 604, with an all Colt chromed non-notched bolt carrier assembly, and very good handguards. Also a Model 603, with a Colt parked bolt carrier assembly and very good handguards. Both are currently on the appropriate NoDak Spud lowers, and would rather sell them assembled. But with colorado steamrolling into full assault mode l figure l can break these into parts kits again. Thanks. |

A buddy looked at this and started drooling over some of the old parts. I have no idea about current prices on the parts, so I'm asking here. I don't want to rip him off, but I don't want to give it away either. What I know about it - preban DPMS with a "666" SN, P&W Vortex(?) on 14.5 barrel, KAC rail, ASA sidesling, an Eotech that takes N cells, and a small (KAC?) backup rear. I have a Colt Sporter Lightweight. It is in excellent condition. I don’t have the box. The serial number is SL00029X. It’s all original. With the really low serial number, does that bring up the value? I know how to post pics now. What pictures would be useful?

I have an older XM177 tribute that I sent off to Ken Elmore over at Specialized Armament years ago to install the DD 1/7      12.7" pencil barrel when they used to make them. He also cut the M4 feedramps into the Colt A1 upper and pin/weld the Brick moderator and re-finished as necessary. Mike or Harlan at Nodak did their magic to match the finish on the lower to the upper and it turned out nicely. I'm thinking $1,500 ? What say you guys?

Reasonable asking price on a NOS box of seven Adventure Line 20 rounders with aluminum followers? The mags are shelf-worn, but never inserted into a rifle. The box is dated 1970. The lid has clear wrapping tape on it, the rest of the box is good with no damage or major stains. Thanks. |

I have this 605 that I built around 2007 sitting in my safe and wondering the value. I havent Been keeping up on the retro world Everything is original colt except the bolt (carrier is original) the mag release button and lower is DPMS that was moly coated to match the upper. The upper was bought at gunshow years ago, as well as the rest of the parts. I’m sure it’s worth more than I have Into it, just not sure how much.       |

Any idea of current value on NOS Big Button forward assists / Colt Large Diameter Round (Type 1) Forward Assist Plunger? Dated 12/73 and a few different months in '74. Found an old container squirreled away in a former armorer's things I'm seeing anywhere from $50 for out-of-stock, to $100 on GB, to $130 on reddit (from 2 years ago)
