He could have had them all in the bull, but he started getting anxious trying to see where he was shooting while squeezing the trigger, jerking the rifle.
He still did an awesome job for his first time shooting.  My daughter is a great shot also but Dad forgot to get a pic of her target.

Awesome build my friend. I got to ask, what is that rail you got on top with the iron sights? That thing looks totally wicked! It looks like it'll work on any flat top AR.

Here is mine.  I'm in the process of building my first AR and can't decide what caliber I want so in the mean time I got a Chiappa M4-22 upper and slapped on an extra scope.

Just finished my deticated .22LR build:

Spikes ST-22 Light Weight dedicated upper
Spikes lower, enhanced LPK, and mil-spec buffer assembly
Troy MRF-DI rail
MATech BUIS
Bunch-o-Magpul (mixed FDE/FG color)

Spec'ed out the simulate my N4 Light Carbine.

ETA: 300+ rounds fired flawlessly on its first outing.  Also the upper stays a lot cleaner with dedicated set up compared to running the Spikes conversion in the N4.

Love the picture of the kids... I let the Boy Scouts and Venturers shoot my Spikes Tactical... they love it and I enjoy seeing them shoot as much as when they let me shoot! Suggest getting a couple of shorter mags so that they can fit better on the shooting bench. Enjoy the time with the kids... lots of good times ahead, Lord willing. Tim

Took it out the the range yesterday and put another 500 rounds of CCI Blazer through it with zero issues through it.  I really like using the short 10 round mags better so I am ordering two more of them.

Oh and I took off my PA multi dot to try out my trijicon Acog 4x32 clone I got from the gun show last week.  It took a minute to sight in, but once it was sighted it shot great.  Took it of and put it back on and it was still sighted at were it had left off so that was good.

Thank you.

It is the Vodoo Tactical case.  I got it from sportsmansguide here http://shop.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=389661.   It does not say it is the vodoo tactical case, but it is.  It is also about $25 cheaper through sportsmansguide then I have seen anywhere else.

I built this upper using a Colt conversion unit and a Ruger 10/22 bull barrel. The upper receiver started out life as an A1 receiver but it was badly damaged in the forward assist area. I removed the carry handle and added a Weaver Base to make the receiver into a flat top.

This upper shoots extremely well and with the conversion I did to get it to accept BDM mags it will shoot extremely well for a lot longer.

Here is the latest configuration

I've found that this setup doesn't like hollow point ammunition. I haven't tried CCI Mini Mags in it yet but I will soon. I've had excellent luck with CCI 40 grain solids.
