Whats the general consensus on forward sling attachment? Are they using the hole provided in the rail, or something with an HK hook edt: ok i see in the first picture. i was kinda fixated on the last picture. |

Even if those are blanks, still gonna get a little toasty. |

It just has that slightly beat up look of 100MPH tape that has been on something for a while. |

View Quote Last picture is hard to tell because it could be looped 550 cord on the end of the handguard. Like many accessories, it could all be user preference. Other setups I've seen were using Proctor slings. |

It looks like an early Knights mount and I like it............Someone better will be along shortly to fill us in but it's very interesting
|
|

It shares some similarities with the EER mount (not the mod 1) with a similar looking amount of cantilever built in and a very, very similar look with the top rings.
But there's no spine down the middle of the mount and what the screws go into on the right side are not squares. |

It's a good looking mount though and one of these fella's in here will know |

I've been out a year now, and I'd love to be able to throw my Razor 1-6 in one of these, but I can't figure the manufacturer. Here's some distinguishing features: There's a Vortex logo on part of the optic (Vortex has done cobranded items before, I've never seen it on their site.) Cerekoted FDE except the clamps, they're anodized tan Torque specs are listed on the top part of the rings in white lettering My Reptilia micro mount screw holes didn't line up, hence having to run the ROF 90 with the full ring set up. The pieces the bolts thread down to on the opposite side are square-shaped. I've seen a lot of scopes have this part in the shape of a circle or a hexagon, but never a square. https://i.imgur.com/vozshfp.jpg https://i.imgur.com/EAjbOIr.jpg https://i.imgur.com/bxzCSZl.jpg Full rifle, to contribute to the thread: https://i.imgur.com/GCOvM8q.jpg View Quote Am I seeing a logo on the right side of the center rib or is that an artifact of lighting? It almost looks like the Vortex logo. |

It's very small and the only branding I remember seeing/have pictures of. I'm going to reach out to vortex today and see if they'll tell me who the OEM was on this. |

That one is really odd. It has clear features of like three different manufacturers. The spine in the middle looks like the Geissele/Reptilia spine, the nut configuration and ring sections remind me of Knights and Nightforce.
I almost wonder if Vortex had it made for a contract by one of the above but other mounts got selected so it never became a thing. I'm very intrigued to hear who made it. |

Maybe @VortexOptics can tell us.

if I had to guess, seems to be a contract mount that was probably packaged w/ the Razors. Other 75th rifles seem to have them.
this scar for example: Attached File |

That is in fact our mount, however it is a contracted mount that is not available for civilian purchase.

Rather simple, but with very usable features. Don’t care for the thick arrows on the horizontal crosshairs, but it’s livable. Nothing is perfect. |

Vortex not offering that mount, that reticle, or the 1-10 on the uk ranger rifle is really annoying.

AMG 1-10 is coming out, a EO listing page has leaked out showing $4k

Will definitely be interesting to see the specs on it. |

I'm gonna take it to AP Hill during our next qual and run it with 855a1 on the pop-up range. My only gripe with the contract tango6t is that the mount could've been a little taller, otherwise I think its a great upgrade over a M150 RCO. |
