Being it's a mid length barrel I couldn't cut it down too far - so went all the way back to where the fluted section of the barrel started. The lower is stamped so length didn't matter. Thus 14.8". It will get pulled and put in reserve once the BA barrel is out. Originally Posted By bradpierson26:

It is so much more rewarding on steel. |

Wishing like hell I could find a 12.5 6.5 Grendel or 6.8 SPC barrel with carbine gas and the 700x700 "M4" step at the muzzle to replace this 5.56 barrel.... |

Sunda Gunday. I feel like sharing.
This is as far as I currently am with this build. The SR25 recce rail will likely find a new home on my Mk12 Mod1 with a set of NF medium rings since I'm not planning to run any backup irons on this thing. - LaRue 12" Stealth SS barrel, likely cut back to the end of the rail when the time comes - KAC Medium FF RAS - BCM Scratch & Dent upper - PRI Gasbuster - M16 BCG - KAC SR25 recce rail, 300m BUIS, bubble - KAC QD sling socket - KAC Hand Stop Temporary muzzle device will be a SureFire so I can get some use out of the Warden I have laying around. I'm currently waiting on an NT-4 to be transferred so at some point, I'll be swapping the SF comp out for a KAC NT-4 MAMS mount. Also brokered a smoking deal on a KAC 34mm mount to accommodate a Leupold Mk6 1-6x. Only thing is the mount has 19 MOA built into it but I don't think it'll be a problem. Attached File Attached File Also, get your Deplorable patches here, IF you can catch 'em in-stock. |

Kind of want the scope for the 6.5G. |

Gonna cut the barrel barrel back to 11.3ish and use an NT-4 MAMS brake with the 'Cob whenever it finally shows up. Until then, I'll be using a Warden. Also need a Mk6 1-6x. Really sprung on this sucker.

I get in pretty tight on this thing. I've only used this and a ctr. I'm trying out a sopmod on a different rifle and might change my mind on this short thing depending on how that goes.
