The hardest part is the M16 lower, probably followed by a SF4P, and then a PEQ-15/LA-5. WMX-200 is kind of hard to find for reasonable price. I have my black one I'm going to put up forsale for pretty reasonable I think if someone is looking for one. |

Got the DD barrel and the rest of the upper parts in today for my Mod 0 clone. Went to assemble the upper only to realize I forgot to order a handguard endcap
Would it kill them to include a barrel nut and endcap with the barrel? Pics will be posted after I get an endcap from the LGS. Question: Do all Mk18's come with the CQD front/rear sling attachments? Seems like a lot of the .mil guns are missing them based on the pictures |

View Quote The M16A1 lowers were used on MK 18 MOD 0s, not M4A1 CQBRs, about the only closer you're going to get is an "AUTO" marked RO727/RO723 lower to represent an older inventory COTS carbine with a 10.3" URG installed. IMHO, an M16A1 lower would be a step backwards - I would save that for a MK 12 SPR clone. ~Augee |

Trust me when I say use skilcraft tan obliterating compound for the tan base coat. (This is one of the tans the USMC uses) Most of the generic tans ended up looking like the inside of a sick baby's diaper to me, luckily I tested them on mags first. |

Are the Colt Side-Swivels used on Mk18's? I thought they came on all government carbines, but I don't remember seeing them in any of the pictures. I have found no pictures depicting the swivel on a MK18 either. Let me check as I thought I remember some with them. Checked my Crane CD on the Mk18 and negative on the Colt Side Swivel. Reason being the KAS RIS came with a forward sling stud that could be mounted anywhere on the rails. CD |

Did you guys use Loctite or anything for the gas block set screw or any staking? It looks like there are regular M4 barrels under the RIS II as well? Thanks! |
