Bally Ribbon Mill told me a 400 yard minimum order @$1.26 per yard for them to run 1/2" tubular nylon in the Coyote Tan, there just isn't enough demand for Coyote TAS-1 kits. I'd have to sell about 18 TAS-1 kits in Coyote just to pay for the 1/2" tubular nylon. Short of Checkpoint Charlies or the guy in TX with the SPR weapons case accessories commissioning a quantity order the demand isn't enough to cover it. Black and OD TAS-1 Kits I can do. At least for now, even the ACW 1" center release buckles are drying up, my one source that sold retail retired from the business. I found one seller who has/had 50 pcs left that may be the last loose available. Buying from ACW requires minimum orders in the 1,000s. |

Got back from the match. Placed 15th out of 70 shooters, with a 5th and 10th place finish on the two long range stages
No 500yd targets, but each long range stage had 5-6 targets between 160-400yds. The Mod 0 slinging 77gr TMKs did great, even with the, uh, suboptimal, glass. Attached File Attached File Attached File Can’t see it in the pics, but the clone sling from @stoner63a did great. Had to sling the rifle all six stages, either starting with the rifle or pistol and letting it hang before or after pistol use. |

There are a few places in MD, VA, WV, and PA where you will go 200yds and further for rifle targets. Also looks like the scores from the individual Nooks got eaten by Practiscore. The MD is dealing with it, but I think I might have finished even higher, based on one guy on my squad that I know I beat having placed higher on the final score announcement. |

It was over 430 for the case and foam. Supressor was around 1k after stamp and transfer. Optics were 2k. I have not looked for the buis as of yet. Lower was around 500 or so after geissele trigger and ergo grip upgrade. Kac parts were 650( rail, sling swivel, and bipod adaptor. It just all ads up quick. A mod 0 would probably been cheaper. |

I’ve shot matches at York and Topton Fish and Game. York matches are very difficult from a technical perspective. They make you learn your height over bore, offhand capabilities, and memorizing meticulous stages, or you pay in time and penalties. Topton I’ve only shot at for the annual 3 man 3 gun match, but it’s more of a party than a match for most, since the prize table is random draw (thankfully ) |

Make the kits with materials available with buyer's choice of only the Handguard Adapter (for use with SOPMOD or CTR stock) or the A1/A2 Rifle Stock Adapter to minimize waste, doesn't effect the sling itself, then replace the Handguard and Rifle Stock Adapters later at cost IF 1/2" tubular Coyote nylon becomes available? |
