VTAC sling. Front mount is a mount-n-slot limited rotation QD mount. Rear mount is a Midwest Industries QD mount. Also have a QD mount on the CTR if I wan't to  switch it up a little.

I switched my 9mm over to QD slinging a few weeks ago using a Troy M4 OEM QD endplate and an IWC Mount-N-Slot handguard QD socket - it works very well in both single and two point modes.  It's a little strange after being used to HK snap hooks, but I'm liking it:

Update 12/1: I have contacted both Vickers Tactical and Blue Force Gear, and it is not a product of either of theirs.

Update 11-30:  I received a reply but I did not describe well enough what I was looking for.  So in true ARFCOM fashion, I attached a MS Paint drawing to the email outlining what I was looking for.

I too am on the hunt for this....

If I find it first do I get a free one?  LOL

I found it on the Vickers website, but it is not listed as a product for sale.

I emailed them to see if they could tell me what adapter it is.  I will post the reply when I get it.

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!  I eagerly looked through all the pages searching for  the answer to my question only to be let down.  Someone here has to know what happened to the OP of that awesome front attachment point.  How do you just drop off the best gun forum on the planet?  Did he turn librard or something? (this is where someone will reply that he died and I will look like a dumb ass   )

It appears to be a Colt Side Sling Adapter with the webbing loop removed and replaced with a hook loop.  Can't find it either.

Personally, I wouldn't run that sling point, anyways. It could get twisted and detach accidentally. Try it: push the hook up into the hole of the mount, and twist it around - it will come undone pretty quickly. Talk about dangerous if you need to retain your weapon. A properly sized HK eye hole wouldn't do this, but many companies still make Xbox-hueg holes that can end up self-detaching.

VTAC sling, Troy drop in rail and CTR stock with QD rings. I have to say this setup was 100x better than any single point setup I ever used.

Me, not so much!

It is a lot like the VTAC sling, and uses an ALICE shoulder strap release for the quick adjust.

I wanted to be able to attach it properly, so I rigged up some ghetto attachment points. The front point is self-explanatory, the back point is hiding a velcro loop that keeps it from sliding around and behind the buttpad.

Did the pull strap and velcro keeper with Shoe Goo, and it is holding up really well! The webbing seems to be a great surface to adhere to.

One more pic of my fabulous paracord weaving skills!

I am planning on adding padding as soon as I find the right material.

Keeping it simple. I've since removed the little sling swivel tab on the sling. Sling holds tight on the rear of the handguards very well. Might get a QD stud for the stock, but for now, the loop through is working well.

Cut the Blackhawk sling (was sewn into a closed loop), and figured out a way to install a QD swivel onto the MOE stock. Pleased with the results.

CQD sling with CQD front and rear mounts.  Still need to trim and tape, the sling comes a lot longer than neccessary.

I tried my hand at making one of these and it was time consuming but easy.  I wanted a sling that could be used for:

  1. a basic sling
    a 1 point sling
    a 2 point sling

I knew I could not make it adjustable, except by the method used by Hk_usp_40, but I didn't want the adjustment dangling.  So, I made the sling into two parts.

And the basic "sling arms:"

I'd get a longer loop if I had an IWC mount on the handguard, but this seems to fit the bill.  Hope y'all like it. (sorry about the "X's"- there is nothing there and I don't know how to get rid of them)
