The vendor I bought from was 72.00 + 8.00 shipping I just checked and they raised the price to 77.00 with $8.00 shipping. I see other stores used to carry these for $50ish but they are all sold out. I wonder if HK USA is going to import some more. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
Quoted: Possible, but mine were only $65 each. . I just picked up a few Promag 20rnd for 12.99 each. The 30's are a couple bucks more and as much as I love to hate on ProMag for the Vepr12 everyone says that this 93 mag just works. I just wanted an HK mag for my rifle. On the Magazine front Zenith says they'll be having a shipment of their poly mags coming in a couple weeks, HK said they consider the 93 a dead platform and will not be importing any more mags.

New production HK 30 round mags, limited. HK mags I have purchased from them with good luck. View Quote I picked up 2 earlier this week but good to know there isn't a huge shortage of them. |

Would it be a bad idea to buy a couple of the HK mags? I see stock is dropping rather fast..have they been this price for awhile now? I just would hate to buy $70 mags and the value plummets.

Those mags listed above were $65 late last year. He does get more in, but they are not always in stock.

Here are the MKE 30 rounders.
MKE mags These may or may not work in the new guns. There are known issues with the older Century built guns. Jason |

Can anyone reach out to their PTR contact and see if they will be testing/making these to accept the MKE mags? That would be pretty huge if they are made to fit.

View Quote That being said from what I've seen so far PTR is shipping this with a Promag so if that's the case then MKE mags should work just fine without modification. FWIW even the MKE mags for my MP5 are a tighter fit than my HK ones. |

Bud's removed the reserve button. Not sure if that means they are all gone or it's just one batch.

Now we wait and see how transparent they are with the build process...I sure hope PTR can post to their Facebook to keep us updated. I'm super curious to see what we get as an end product.

I bought a pair of 40s from Apex expecting to get one with the gun and expecting all current supplies of German mags to quickly run out. Just bought two of the 30s from HK Specialist. That should do until I find a deal.
Are they marking these in some way so we can prove they're PTR builds? |

Does anyone know if these barrels will be stainless?
Or carbon steel that’s been nitride treated? |

Just ran across these on HK Parts PTR built HK93 barrels I'd wager these are what they are going to be using https://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=16458&idcategory=162 |

As far as magazines are concerned, I have a dozen new MKE magazines, and considering one of the issues encountered by some was due to the magazine catch being shallow, and not engaging the magazine, I ordered up the latest generation catch just in case.

How do you know that's the latest revision? Was there some obvious difference in earlier ones?
And it says Ejector Lever. |

I'll buy when PTR makes a G41 clone, specifically a G41A2.
And they have to make a G41 clone according to the principle of if you're not growing your business, your business is dying. Them making a 9mm makes me think they get it. |

I should have bought mags when I first saw this thread.
How good/bad are the promags? Just the name promag scares me. |

I guess the PTR-G3K clone will have to do........(kicks ground a little bit with hands in pockets).

I noticed Midway increased the price on their Pro-mags since this started.

Wow. 4 days to sell 800 firearms. Wish I had seen this a day earlier.

Anyone want to recommend a sling for this rifle? View Quote Pretty much anything you want can be made to work with an HK93 stype rifle. If you're terminally cheap, you can get an M16 web sling with a cheap snap hook. If you're more tacticool, there are 1/2/3-point slings ranging from $30 on up. I've used some Specter slings before on other rifles, they have a variety of HK stuff that's pretty affordable, if you want that route. Optics Planet seems to carry most of their line. RobertRTG stocks some surplus/contract options. HKParts has a variety of things, but they're expensive. |

FYI: The HK 30rd mags I received from HK Specialist are brand new in the HK wrapper and look pretty new manufacture. Definitely recommend vs. any crap shoots out there.

I am so glad/mad I did not see this earlier. Really not a good time to sped $$ on a new rifle and mags.

Well, fuck... not sure what I did to deserve not knowing about this till now...

The 93 pattern is sold to diehard HK fans. If the G41 was made, it would have a greater outreach because it; 1, uses AR mags and everyone wants a rifle that uses AR mags. And 2, it is a HK pattern gun and that in of itself is extremely popular as a marketing tool. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

A G41 clone isn't going to happen at C93 prices or even PTR 91 prices. Hell, it would probably cost more than a PTR 9C/CT. Doesn't make sense to me to pay 3x or more the cost of a C93 to save $60 per magazine as I'm not that autistic that I need 20+ mags for a range rifle.
