There's rifles in that picture?  They're so well camoflaged I can't see them...

Aimless, my fellow barrister, I can't believe you didn't have an AR until now!  Congratulations!

Lurker's right - gray mags are going to look kinda odd sticking out of the receiver.

Why thank you Yes it's a 16" Bushmaster A3.

You mean all the AR mags don't look like that?

By the way, where exactly is the lever to work the action on one of these...

Hmmm.  It should say in the instruction manual that Bushmaster ships with thier rifles.

If you were kidding...  Good one!

Just don't drop your new toy in the grass - you might not be able to find it with that paint job.

Let's see, I know  I put it down somewhere around here...

So now that you got an AR, what are you going to change your name too?

Very nice looking AR!! Give us a report once you break it in. Ok?

I did the opposite, I lurked for a long while, bought an AR(Bushmaster, plain EVIL Black), lurked a while, then joined in the mayhem. Hope to get 1000 posts real soon.

Super cool paint job-I really dig it. Unfortunately, for the price of that paint job I can buy another gun. Lauer looks like they do some really trick paintwork, but it's kinda pricey. I checked their website and to have my 12ga pump camoed it was like $300? The $10.00 camo sock I have on it right now works just fine.

Very nice, Aimless.  That really is a beauty.

Now tell me, have you started thinking about what configuration you're going to get #2 in yet?  After I got my first AR, I was picking out #2 within a week.

Aimless, congradulations, you are now the proud owner of a very nice weapon, and I might add a nice camo job by Lauer also.

Yeah, whats up with that ?
No AR all this time ?
Is this your first gun as well.
If you lived in Texas would you have gotten
it painted like a cow ?

If you just now getting an AR don't think for
one minute that I think you are gonna go out
and buy a Beta C-Mag to match

Just jiving ya,
Congrates on the new AR.
Hope you enjoy the jungle out of it.

If you MUST buy any USA Mags. First go and measure the roof your home for square footage.

Then Decide if you want 20 or 30 round USA Mags. I think 20 rounders are easier to work with.

OK now you have the square footage and the size of the MAG you want.

lets use round numbers.(I am a bit slow)

A = Roof sqft
USA 20rd Mag = 2.5"x7.5" x SQ ft
Total Number of USA mags = B

Purchase supply of USA Mags = to B. [You should have no problem finding most in junkyards or trash can]

Then line all the USA Mags up flat unloaded in the road in front of your house and wait.

As the cars and truck come by they will flatten the USA Mags one by one. As I have done more than once.

Remove the pancaked USA Mag bring it up to the roof and nail it on in nice neat rows. When all the USA mags are pancaked and installed you will have a nice metal shingle roof.

The roof should last if painted properly over 50 years .

This is the only use for any USA Magazine I have ever used or seen.

This is correct. If you have accidentally purchased USGI mags already then you should mail them to me.

Don't forget to ONLY shoot S&B ammo through that purdy thang! That's the only ammo that works in USA mags anyway.
