View Quote Run quality 168gr or 175gr Match through it and see which it favors. Also try M118LR if you can source it. Don't put bullshit M80 blaster ammo through your precision rig. It's a highly unrealistic expectation if you think you're going to consistently group well with it. |

Can I still expect good accuracy out to 800yd with considerably less expensive M80 spec ammo? View Quote You should try to hit anything close to man-size with precision with M80 that far. You'll quickly find it's cheaper per hit to use match ammo. Totally different example, I was trying to dot a 10" plate with M193 out of a 10" AR. This was just at 300yds. I couldn't hit anything. I thought there was no way I could be missing this bad, switched to a MK262 clone out of 16" and pinged every time. Ammo to a gun is like tires on a car, makes a huge difference. |

|
Wow that's crazy. Let me preface all this that I'm pretty alright out to 300 but I have close to no experience shooting past that other than on a M240L or M2A1 . So my long range experience is almost nothing. I always assumed that M80 was a decently accurate cartridge but I will skip it and spend the extra to feed the gun quality match ammo. Thanks guys! Hopefully I'll be able to post pics of my complete rifle soon

Gotcha. Thanks. I like the darker shades of FDE, but the clone-correct color is lighter so I'm torn. They should have spec'd Field Drab. |

If you going in understanding and expecting this, then you're good. People who don't know how Marvin works tend to get pissed off. These small operations tend to not have a robust staff of people answering inquiries all day, and I suspect they get a lot of BS correspondence and have to answer a bunch of silly ass questions all the time. Just have to bear with them. |

I think Nackley over at NS Defense either has some Nefarious M110 and MK11 Mod 0 barrels or is getting another batch in soon. Either way folks have options now. |

Never seen that before. https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/204916/20210812_181429-2050304.jpg I don't think it was drilled at all because it's the same on the charging handle from my ECR special release gun. The one on the left in the first photo is from a EMC delta gun. The roll pin on the back of the charging handle limits the rearward movement of the latch and seems to prevent the latch from hitting the main body of the charging handle when it's depressed. Again it's on the ECR charging handle too. I notice it has the same latch as the one from Operation Parts. |
