Been keeping an eye on the Massoud for years. Fondled it at Shot. Exciting.
Doesn’t look like it’s “out” out. Not seeing it on on their page. Do you have pricing info? |

As an ACR owner I've been waiting a while for that to come out too. I started to migrate to the MCX since ACR stuffed dried up, then hit a wall. I hope Sig beats KRG to the market on the Spear... but who knows. |

Neuigkeiten von SIG - MCX SPEAR | MG 6.8 | MG338 I haven't seen this one yet, but I speak only two languages: Murican and profanity, so I can't tell if there's any important info hiding in it. First segment is all about the Spear. |

I think I said this before, but that recoiling-barrel option would be awesome for instances like when SOFA agreements prohibit belt-feds.
Or, if I'm leaving the wire on a patrol, but we're carrying two or three of those w/ multiple 50rd drums in our packs instead of rifles, and some terrorist asshole reports a "lightly armed squad" headed out. |

I don't think there's any way this will end up at $ 2,500.00 if the tiny Rattler's street price is $ 2,299.00 all over the internet right now. The 716 is going for about $2,700.00. I'd say this gun is going to be $ 3,000.00 to 3,250.00

The DMR is still active and MAP is $2749 The Rattler you posted.....all i'll say is whoever posted that price is mistaken. That's not a realistic price and I would highly suggest anyone looking for a Rattler (or anyone looking for a deal) go and buy all of his inventory right now. I dont think he has any inventory, though - which makes this price irrelevant, IMO. ETA: TSS doesnt even have any MCX's listed on his website currently - so, I think that screen grab is more than outdated. Do you have to login to see inventory on some items? |

MAP for the 716 Gen 2 DMR might be $2749, but the street price is $2200-2300. I am looking at a dealer that has it for under $2200. So again, street price can be significantly less than MSRP or MAP depending where the Spear ends up. Street price of $2500-2700 for a Spear makes sense if the 716 Gen 2 DMR is in the $2200-2300 range with a MAP of $2749. Give the Spear a MSRP/MAP of $3000-3100 and a street price of $2500-2700. |

So, the DMR you referenced is a discontinued SKU - which will, obviously, affect "street price". Our MAP policy is very strict and anyone violating that risks losing their dealer status - discontinued items have MAP removed. Street price can definitely be less than MSRP (by design), but, technically, not less than MAP. Now, if you have a relationship with a dealer and you get less than MAP, that's understandable. However, "advertised" pricing, will rarely been seen below MAP. I'm not trying to measure dicks with you, just trying to set a reasonable expectation for others watching this thread on what they can expect to pay for an active, in-line product. |

I've seen a new 716 pistol around the $1800 range in LGS this week. I figure add a $K for the Spear if they become readily available.

I was just pointing out to other members that regardless of what MSRP/MAP is listed at, you can find Sig products for less than that if you know where to look and where to shop. I just went through that whole ordeal recently when ordering a MPX K and a Virtus. Just that when/if a MCX Spear is released, those willing to wait for the initial demand to die down could get one for less than the MSRP/MAP. He's been terribly silent about the whole thing, but he said this in another thread:
SPEAR is still tracking. It's a progressive release, starting with some "unveilings" at some MIL/GOV type events that have been pushed back some, due to the CV19 stuff, but it's right around the corner. View Quote |

The spear is coming, but I wouldn't let that interfere with me getting a TACOPS, especially since some are available right now. TACOPS is a hard value to beat in the MCX family right now and you dont want to miss that. |
