Looks like the holster is on his left, probably left handed?
Link Posted: 9/10/2011 2:25:25 AM EST
[#2]

Go to http://members.fortunecity.com/swatshop/page15.htm and scroll down to South Africa, I think they still have some for sale under '32 Battalion summer assault vest'.

Cheers,

Wamba

Thank you very much.

Finally got a chance to get out and get dirty this weekend

ETA: AKMS Video, AR15 Video, Glock 19 Video

I need to take my MRP to the range, it's way off as indicated by me running the drill WAY better with an AK and iron sights...

Good shit TRON. Did you replace the strap system in the kejo helmet or is it stock? Either way how do you like it?

Thanks, it's the stock system but I think it's kind of a GEN 1 thing. They come with a different suspension system now. The one I have is fine. It's comfortable, cool, and functions with my ear/eye pro very well. The only thing I did was add some closed cell foam to the inside of the shell for some bump protection.

Finally got flicks of some of my gear.

First is my USGI FLC, Nothing really special about it.
2X SDS Canteen Pouches (1 is for admin/nvgs), 2X SDS FRAG Pouches, 1X SDS Flash Pouch (used for Sidewinder/Multitool), 3X SDS Double Mag Pouches, 1X SDS IFAK, 1X Pelican Light. Used for when we're CT/OC's, Training, etc..

Condor Modular Chest Set (has lasted me over a year with some brutal times with it, not 1 complaint, use it daily) Fastened Side Buckles on it, and Sewed up the front chest split.
1X Condor T&T Admin Pouch, 2X SDS Canteen Pouches, 1X Condor Double Mag Pouch, 1X Condor Rip-Away IFAK, Camelback 2Liter Bladder in the back

Tactical Assault Gear Hard Plate Carrier, awesome plate carrier

USGI MSA MICH2000 w/surefire hl-1

the lot

and some more in the garage.
3X CHICOM AK47 Chest Rigs, 1X CHICOM M4 Chest Rig, 1X Black Hawk Vest

That's some of the gear I have laying around

Eagle plate carrier w/ cummerbund

Front:

L to R as pictured:

BFG Trauma Kit Now (mounted upside down as this is the first iteration with velcro on top. May just cut the velcro off and flip it back over if it doesn't stay put.)
EGL Monkey Stomper with 4 M4 mags, 2 Glock mags, light and multitool
DBT Smoke pouch (great size for smoke or shotgun panel, or anything else I might need)
ITW Fastmag
BFG 10 speed double M4 pouch

Above those are a SOF tourniquet wrapped in a bit of multicam fabric and a MilSpec Monkey small patch panel I use as an admin pouch.

Back:

Ares Armor Combat XII pack

I made a couple mods to include the added velcro on the top front for the flag patch.

Swapped out the buckles on the shoulder straps to make the pack interface better.

And added some velcro to the plate pockets to hold my small front and medium back plate higher in the carrier.

Blacktide, I was looking to see if you posted this earlier. But what kind of war belt do you have there? Is it a ATS? if so how do you like it?

I'm in the market for a new one and it was between the ATS and the HSGI sure-grip.

Thanks,
H

It looks great. I'll probly use that color on my almost complete SPR.

Your and Mattvac's plate carriers are sweet too. A Banshee will soon carry my sapi plates.
