Might be a Type 7 FFL/SOT dealer sample. MGs aren't SBRs.

I was PCS'ed back to Kali, and currently have four SBR's and a SWR SPECWAR in my Trust; unfortunately they are in my Florida Trust.

I was born and raised in Kalifornia, but this state blows when it comes to guns laws. I really don't think that is an agency approved weapon since it is very hard for LEO's to get a basic AR with regular magazine release. It might be an agency issued gun, though.

My BCM 11.5 LW barrel with KMR rail has like a 7" POI shift down at 100yrds when I attach my SDN-6. You notice the same?

The forearm? 12" Seekins BAR. It's a good slip over fit.

That's an M16A2 Commando. Notice the A2 reinforcements on the lower. The A1 upper was common on the early A2 Commandos. One should never say never with Colt, but I've heard from several Colt SMEs that an A2 upper with an 11.5" barrel is a dead giveaway for a rifle that was modified after it left Colt. I am talking about early A2s, prior to the introduction of the picatinney rail upper.

I thought the A2 uppers had the rear sight that allowed for elevation adjustment? It is my understanding that an A1 can come with or without a shell deflector.

EDIT:

I see what you are saying now.

Pulled the coated parts out of the oven last night.  Hopefully I get some more extensive test firing in and maybe a video by this weekend.

Nothing too unique about this one, but I've wanted a 300blk setup for a while. After sitting on the parts for about a year I finally built it last night...

Still need irons and an optic, but it might be a while.
