It's a SCAR 17 mostly factory with a Timney trigger, NF 3.5-15 F1 scope, PDWS rail, AAC flashhider. It's actually my husbands. I couldn't get one of my own before panic prices. Now I'm just waiting for them to go down. We were sharing it for the long range shoot. I can tell you that I hit a 900mm cold bore shot with it using hold overs in gust up to 20mph. That was a rush. |

Wow, its looks great.
I'm still looking for a nice quality glass for my 17. I got lucky and on a whim purchased one and was smart enough to stock up on mags too before all this stuff happened with the recent shootings and political fall out. Still kinda unsure what I want out of the rifle. So its just sitting with out a proper optic on it. I'm digging that setup. Finding a replacement trigger though is proving next to impossible... |

I would prefer a Geissele trigger but I've personally never run across one in stock anywhere. Plus its the first upgrade I would make to the SCAR before I sink too much into it. Right now I just slapped an ECOS on it... But it doesn't do alot of justice for the rifle I feel.

I had one but sold it. I thought it had a small eyebox and the eye relief was very unforgiving for all but standard shooting positions. I.E. at the higher powers the exit pupil got really hard to find. I have a Generation 2 Elcan Specter DR SU-230A/PVS Flat Dark Earth 1x4 Scope mounted on my SCAR17s now and it seems to be working out. If not I will upgrade to the Leupold MK8 1-8X or maybe the MK6 1-6X in the leupold tactical line.
