Daily do you even lift thread.
Why aren't you in the gym ? It's not a glandular problem, you're lazy. I figured this could be a thread for people to discuss anything gym related, supplements, training and other shit. and if you choose to, make excuses on why you dont work out regularly ( cardio or lifting ) dont forget to say your daily hail arnolds |

I've been slaughtered the past week with work and personal/family shit to handle.
I haven't lifted in almost 7 days. I am lifting tomorrow; blocked out time to do it. I *hate* when things pour down and my time to lift is intruded upon. |

Neither of my grandfathers exercised, one lived until he was 96, the other until 91.
One grandmother lived until she was 86, the other is closing in on 95 and neither exercised. One great grandmother lived until 103, the other was 100, and neither exercised, well not since they left the farms when they were young. Meanwhile my marathon running gym teacher died in his early thirties. I'll roll the dice on the whole exercise thing at this point in life. |

Front squats, sled push/pull and heavy bag today.
I upset the Crossfitters by not violently thrusting the weight over my head, then throwing it at the nearest wall. |

I did. Then I fucked up my shoulder and haven't lifted in ten months. I am now in worse shape than before I started working out.

Worked up to a heavy triple on bench. Then volume work. Then curls. Then tris.

Did back and bis today. Haven't done a chest/tri workout in two weeks due to some hand issues.

You're right, I'm lazy. I want to look like Apollo or Helo from BSG, where do I begin? I'm fat, 6' 200 lbs and will need to get into it at a sustainable pace.

I think this also and then think of the rigors daily life brought to your grandparents. Just existing probably was alot more exercise than going to a gym daily. They were also weaklings. Went twice today. 0900 and 2100. Just my normal circuit and I upped my weight today

I worked out in my outdoor gym, starting out in the garden this morning then will plant some trees next then work on a rock wall and finish the day with spreading 3,000 lbs of mulch. Nothing like an 8-10 hr workout to get the blood pumping

Currently in a food coma preparing for legs tonight. And by legs I mean 10 sets of squats, then curls, then abs. Traps were hit yesterday so they'll probably throb from the bar resting on them. Fuck it, no squats tonight
