Here is a little hint for the folks that can't seem to grasp the whole 18 months thing.
MIDTERM FUCKING ELECTIONS! Discuss...or not. |

Ask yourselves this.... Knowing that the Democrats (Schumer and Pelosi) never met a debt ceiling increase that they didn't like... And knowing that they are now even negotiating with the President to eliminate the ceilings completely... ...WHY would they see it to their advantage to ask for only a three month extension of the debt ceiling? Socrates is embarrassed FOR you. 18 months was on the table, and they asked for just three. You might not know the answer, but you should at LEAST recognize that the question should be asked. Serious question. NSA Spying, Politically motivated murders, Election outcomes.. They are all mysteries there. Like the Prince in the Time Of the ole Greeks. I shudder to think how hard my Pro Trump bias would be to kick if Trump started screwing up. Quoted:

Even the Hildabeast acknowledged the results were predictable. So if person was blindsided by that outcome it might be a time for introspection. Quoted:
This would be a good thread to revisit in December to see what additional concessions the D's can extract from Trump. Although I'm not sure "extract" is the right word. That sort of implies effort on the part of the Democrats... All the hurricanes must have blown the murkiness out of Bullet Spo's busted crystal ball. Hang on because now he will actually begin to make his accurate predictions. Next thing we know he will claim to have fixed his busted FISA book. At least he has come to grips with the fact Trump is not going to be impeached, so there's that. |

So I'm confused.
People love Trump because he is going to destroy the RINOs. Yet he does the exact same thing that made people hate RINOs, like John McCain, in the first place. How is giving the democrats everything they want not the definition of a RINO? Why is it bad when everyone else does it, but super awesome when Trump does it? It's obvious to see why the democrats like short term debt limits. They get concessions each time. Pretty sure in December they will be willing to extend it again for three months as long as none of the money can be used for a border wall, and Trump agrees not to deport any dreamers. They can string this out for his entire administration and ensure nothing he promised will ever get done. |
