If your "joke" were simply a joke you wouldn't be posting anything associating anti-LEO sentiments with site.  Yet, you continue to do so, hiding behind a big smile.

Disgusting.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/09/17/suspect-idd-in-pennsylvania-trooper-ambush-sharp-shooter-who-doesnt-miss/
The father of the suspect named in the ambush killing of a
Pennsylvania state trooper told police his son is an excellent marksman
who "doesn’t miss,”
a police affidavit released Tuesday said.

Hundreds of law enforcement officers fanned out across the dense
northeastern Pennsylvania woods Tuesday as they tracked Eric Frein, a
survivalist with two high-powered rifles
and a grudge against police.
Frein was identified by police as the gunman who killed one trooper and
injured another in a late-night ambush outside a state police barracks.

His father, Michael, a retired major in the U.S. Army with 28 years
of service, told police that his son is an excellent marksman. The
suspect lived about 20 miles from the ambush site and lived with his
parents until a few months ago, Lehigh Valley Live reported. A sniper
training magazine
was reportedly found inside the parents' home.

Frein, 31, of Canadensis, is "extremely dangerous" and residents in
the area should be alert and cautious, State Police Commissioner Frank
Noonan said at a news conference in which he revealed the suspect's
name.

"He has made statements about wanting to kill law enforcement officers and also to commit mass acts of murder," Noonan said.

Frein was charged Tuesday with first-degree murder, homicide of a law enforcement officer and other offenses.

About 200 law enforcement officials were combing the rural area of
northeastern Pennsylvania marked by dense forest, but "we have no idea
where he is," Noonan said.

The gunman killed Cpl. Bryon Dickson, 38, and critically wounded
Trooper Alex Douglass outside the barracks during a late-night shift
change, then slipped away. The Times-Leader reported that surveillance cameras recorded the gunshots and the rescue to save the officers.

Authorities were led to Frein after a resident who was walking his
dog in a wooded area 2 miles from the barracks Monday spotted a 2001
Jeep lightly submerged in a pond and called 911. Police found shell
casings inside the vehicle that matched those found at the shooting
scene, Noonan said.

Investigators also found Frein's Social Security card, a Pennsylvania
Game Commission range permit, camouflage face paint, a black hooded
sweatshirt, two empty rifle cases and military gear, Noonan said.

Frein has held anti-law enforcement views for many years and has
expressed them both online and to people who knew him, said Lt. Col.
George Bivens.

"This was not unexpected," Bivens said. "As we've interviewed a
number of people, that's been the common theme. This was not a
surprise."

Three state police patrol cars were parked at Frein's parents' home, a
well-kept two-story residence in a private community. Several other
cars were in the driveway Tuesday afternoon.

How long before fucktards start calling for the ban on "Sniper Rifles" and related gear?

Disgusting.

Even though his comment was out of taste,  what do you think posters mean by "it's coming" (or variations of it) on here?

They're not talking about Jesus.

Anytime some veiled threat like that is said, it does this site a diservice.

Now, THAT is digusting.

That IS disgusting.  Particularly in a thread where an LEO lost their life.  I missed that comment or I would have definitely said something.

This is what I said on page ten-
Extremists on both sides seem to do their best to embarrass this site.

ETA:  I see where you didn't seem to mean in this particular thread.  My bad.  It's STILL disgusting.

Many believe, as the saying goes, “There is a grain of truth in every joke”, or that “a joke is truth wrapped in a smile.” Sigmund Freud suggested that jokes were true, serving two purposes: aggression (such as sarcasm) or to expose unconscious desires (the sexual joke). But is there really truth in every joke? The purpose of this post will be to explore whether or not there is.
Freud certainly had a point; many jokes are hostile, and may indicate the teller’s true feelings. This can be seen in ethnic, racial, or other prejudicial jokes. Sarcasm provides another example of jokes intimating a person’s true feelings. Sarcasm is laced with truth and indicates an underlying anger or hostility that seeks escape. Even self-deprecation done in a joking manner may indicate a poor self-image, or an attempt at humbling an otherwise overconfident persona.

You really need to give this up because you are not going to get anywhere.

Where, in your paranoia,  am I trying to "get?"

So, according to Freud, was your "joke" of a sexual nature or was it aggression?  LMAO.  Petard hoisting, aisle 1.

Philly is blue and would be for it
The area (Poconos) has lots of NY/NJ transplants - would probably go for it
Pittsburgh is blue - but (from what I'm told) is Union blue - would probably not go for it
Harrisburg is blue from all the "let me be in the government" liberals - could go for it

the rest of the state wouldn't - I don't think it would pass law-wise honestly.... but our AG is a cuntbucket and would try something methinks

Back to the issue at hand.  I would think if he got his Jeep stuck and left on foot that unless a dog trails him somewhere by his scent then someone had to help him.  Maybe they didn't know when they stopped to give him a hand but I would think if he got a ride from a friend and had a rifle case that they would at least ask him what he was hunting.  So I am left with the theory that he is either still in the woods somewhere or he got help, perhaps after the fact, by another person.

Although I guess he could have hotwired a car so I imagine if any cars are called in stolen in that area the police would know and would be looking harder than normal to find it.

I hope the fucker shoots himself and saves the state of PA the 50 cent cost of a bullet.

I thought about it and I don't like this one bit. Guy leaves his DL, SS card, and brass? I don't know many people that routinely carry their SS card around with them. I almost would put money on him having another identity ready to go. Plus he still has at least one weapon with him right? Nobody just walks around after a shooting open carrying a rifle. I think he had another vehicle in another location or an accomplice in a vehicle and was long gone. Either that or he is still in the woods, but I doubt it.
Or he's an idiot, which is a safe bet.

Pretty typical when you're running from the scene of a crime. Your mind tends to wander, and you forget a lot of shit.
I had a client who decided to rip someone off on a drug deal. The other guy pulled into a lot and was surrounded by "my guy" and accomplices. They drew pistols and told him to hand over the money. He stomped on the gas and left robbers all staring at each other, as they all thought the other guy would shoot. They then scatter and my guy loses his wallet with driver's license climbing over a fence around the lot. Victim calls the police and says how he was just out for a drive in the ghetto in a vacant lot at 2am and was almost robbed, police drive by and find a wallet..

Pennsylvania school district shuts down fearing at-large suspected cop killer Eric Matthew Frein

A worried Pennsylvania school district canceled classes Wednesday to keep students safe from an alleged cop killer who could strike again.

The Pocono Mountain School District closed all schools as the manhunt for Eric Matthew Frein entered its sixth day. Frein, who is accused of fatally shooting a state trooper during a Friday night assault on police barracks, lives in the district, Lehigh Valley Live reported.

The at-large 31-year-old might be hunting more officers, police said.
