When Mighty Ducks came out we all got cheap hockey sticks and played street hockey on our rollerblades. Lots of picking asphalt pieces out our knees.

Also rigged up a water ski rope to a go kart and went street skiing on our rollerblades. Some solid injuries there.

Playing WOW over dial-up (between getting kicked off by call waiting) and Duke Nukem 3d (while listening to Master of Puppets and Ride the lightning that I smuggled in the house) was peak life....born in 83. Truly a better time.

That thing would destroy batteries.  You absolutely had to have the AC wall adaptor. And the TV tuner was just pure shit.

My parents never exposed me to this. I was 6.

I didn't find out about this massacre until I was older. I was too busy building tree forts from scrap wood and stolen nails and having dirtclod fights.

So many chunks of asphalt rubbed out of my knees leaving cratered knee caps. Never told mom.

Girls aside, that show was so fucking stupid. I was probably the only kid in school that thought so too. I was also probably one of the only kids watching Star Trek, the X-Files, and Unsolved Mysteries.

I had a pretty big POG collection. I don't know if anyone remembers the Apollo 13 Saturn V POG holder Hardee's gave away back when POG was all the rage, but I had one.

There is probably one of those still in the attic at my parents' house. I wonder if those are worth more than a trip to the recycle bin.

Oh man, so many memories!

I got a White Heat for Christmas in like the 3rd or 4th grade. I was king shit.

Those Super Soakers were weapons if you knew what to do. Pump them up good with a half full water tank and then unscrew the tank and shoot it like a water rocket.

When the OKC bombing happened I was at home sick with the chicken pox because my dumbass teacher gave it to the entire class! Had the windows open and heard the blast from my house around 130 miles away.
