Like most 70's kids, I would have happily just about sold my soul to sink my teeth into that perfect, tight, little blondie-blondie ass:
 
Butt I guess it really comes as no surprise that that level of intense, world-wide, insane infatuation would tend to mess up a girls' head.  For a few years in the 1970s, she was the worlds' most desired woman; now, she's a recluse.  Can't say I much blame her.

Say what you will about them, They conquered the world of pop music in a way that has not been matched. Abba is still among the top selling acts of all time and top singles of all time.
Those two women put down vocals without all the autotune used today and they could do it live. Behind them were two producers/songwriters who gave them excellent quality pop material. Heard lots of them growing up, as my stepfather was a fan. |

I discovered ABBA when I worked at a branch of the St. Louis County Library during the time when some of their most iconic hits were charting.
They were very much a guilty pleasure of mine. Let me explain here. . . . . 
If you grew up anywhere near St. Louis in the 70's, 80's. . . KSHE 95 Real Rock Radio was the station in St. Louis to listen to. KSHE played progressive rock radio, album-oriented rock and standard hard rock at the time, and NO pop music. If you were a teenager in Missouri, you forswore pop, dance, or disco, and swore allegiance to KSHE and real rock - - or there was a very real chance that you would not make it through the school year in an undamaged state! 
So, I rented out ABBA's albums - ABBA, Arrival, & The Album and copied them to tape to enjoy when I was driving . . . by myself. . .
