I've been flying the Texas flag and the Confederate navy jack since Biden has been president.
I retired my old glory for now. |

No. It's an international distress signal. I'm thankful I never needed to run one up the rigging upside down. Also thankful I never had to test the freshness of the crackers in the life raft.

Quoted: If someone doesn't want to fly the American flag because they are butthurt they lost an election, hey man it's a free country. Fly it or don't fly it. Flying the American Flag upside down - that IS disrespecting it (unless you are actually far out at sea without power and sinking quickly risking loss of lives). It's absolutely nothing but a whiny bitch move - but better for everyone else that such so called "patriots" self identify to others around them as morons. What's next? Them proudly burning the American flag as a "protest" if they lose again in 2024? I don't like F'ing Joe Biden or the Democrats, but I do Love America and I know that we can weather this. We survived Jimmy Carter. We survived Bill Clinton. We survived Obama. We'll get past Joe Biden too. I fly my American Flag proudly - Every Single Day. My Stars and Stripes was actually flown over an airbase in AFG. I started flying it inverted after we cut and run from there. Lately I just usually fly my Gadsden or my college team flag (go Bobcats!). I do however have a black flag with a yellow alligator and the words "fuck around and find out" on it. I've assured the spouse that I'm saving that one for when the pmag covers are close to being removed.

View Quote I noticed one of my neighbors who flies both the American flag and the Gadsen, has flipped theirs upside-down for this reason. We are experiencing exactly this due to our county and state weaponizing the perpetual "state of emergency" to destroy residential neighborhoods in unincorporated areas. I've elaborated elsewhere. Oregonians may have seen us on the news a few times. Good reminder though, I need to put up a flag. I don't think I'd fly it upside down, but I get exactly why he does. |
