I do. Shoot the 26 the best (by far) then 17 then 19. Seems strange to me. Hated the lil 26 until I got to shoot it a bunch.
AIWB and use the Magpul 12 rounder, (no issues) just enough extension and 17 mags as reloads |
Nope. G19 is a better all around size which is why I carry a P2000
Debated it for a long time. 26 over the 19 and the 43 ended up as the purchase and my EDC. I used to carry a 17 daily.
My personal preference is the 19 over the 26, although the 26 is more concealable for me.

Bought a gen 5 26 for my new edc then proceeded to sell my gen 4 19. I love the gen 5 26 with a pinky extension on a stock mag.

I sold mine after it sat dormant for six months after I got a Glock 43. I wish I hadn't.

I have a few 19’s and one 26, 26 hides better and gets ccw’d More with 17+2 spare mags.
I shoot the 26 more accurately than the 19 for some odd reason. That doesn't stop me from having a 26, 19, and 17.
I have been carrying a P320 Compact 9mm for at least six months. (not racist) |

Having zero CC experience I bought a 26, thinking it was made for CC, so it would be the best choice. Several years of experience behind me now, and a wife who carries a 19, has caused me to arrive at the place where a 19 is the better choice (IMO). I shoot either one very well, but the 19 conceals every bit as well as a 26, so the greater capacity makes it the better choice, IMO. My wife HATES the 26 and won't shoot it at all. She smokes everyone in our club with her 19 though. The bitch. She will laugh when I show her, as she gets occasional scowls when she beats the boys. @ryann |

I'm contemplating getting a G26 to compliment my G19X for shorts and t-shirt carry. I've never had a problem with the G26, it's just that I've G19s for so long that there wasn't really that big of size difference. To me there is enough of a difference between the 19x and the 26.
I started with a 19 but when to the 26 been caring it for years No need for the 19
No. G19 is much better to shoot than the chopped off grip of the G26. Then again, I have adult sized hands too.
The 26 is easier to carry and hide.
It can take 19 and 17 mags. Putting my pinky under mag doesn't bother me at all. But I carry a Glock 36 45ACP most of the time. Slightly smaller than a G19 with slimmer butt. |
the G26 is the only Glock I've ever considered buying
I grew up shooting Glocks but have little love for them, and I wish there was another gun with the same amount of aftermarket dominance with holsters and the like. The Glock 26, though, is a great size with great capacity for that size. ETA: I'd also love to try out a 19 with the grip chopped to 26 height by someone who knew their business. |

Believe me, I'm not really insulting my wife. It's just an attempt at humor, as most here know she and I are abnormally close, and I love her to death. It just sounded funny when I typed it. She will laugh when I show her, as she gets occasional scowls when she beats the boys. @ryann View Quote |

I do. G26 with the 10 round mag is super easy to conceal. I carry a G17 mag as a reload for it. I own a G26 and a G17. I don't see the point of a G19 already having those two.
Yes, I prefer the G26 for carrying and shooting in general. I still use my G19 for drills, though, for some reason.
I don't like double stacks for carry. My carry piece switches between my Makarov, Shield, and LCP depending on what I'm wearing.
If I'm not going to carry a small gun like a G26, then I don't really have a use for it. Glock 20/21 is best Glock. |

Quoted: I can't remember for sure but you can either put the G17 slide on the G19 frame or maybe it's the G19 slide on the G26 frame and it will work fine. I've done it. If you try the wrong combo it can be a bitch to get the slide off. I think it's 19 slide on 26 frame best I remember. View Quote I have a 17 slide on a 19 frame. Can't use a 17 barrel as it will lock up the gun. Again, lone wolf makes a "19L" barrel specific to this task. |

I have a 43 for when I need it; a 19 for when I can carry it.
Wardrobe and situation dependent. 26 didn't shoot well for me. |

Anyone here prefer a G26 to the 19? I figure you can make a 26 "G19" size, but not vice versa... I'm debating picking a 26 over a 19 to replace my G17 for EDC Something like this guy http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/images/411553363_1.jpg View Quote Attached File G17 mag for capacity. Can always put in the short mag. G19 barrel because velocity and out of battery protection. ETA: If I’ll be sitting for long periods I prefer a G43. |

If I could have just 1 handgun/Glock, it would be the 26.
I carried a 23 and 19 for many years but had to dress around the gun. The 26 is easier to carry, especially sitting in a car. It prints more like a cell phone on your belt and doesn't show as a pistol. Since I retired, I carry the 43 most of the time. |

The G26 is and always been too damned chunky for its role. IMO the 43 rendered it obsolete in the Glock line-up. If you need/want the extra capacity I would just go G19. View Quote Just shoot the G26 as is. Feels weird at first without the pinky on the grip, but you get used to it. Also discovered it didn't really matter either. It is more concealable than a G19, and you can use all the same spare double stack mags for capacity. |

If you're wanting to ankle carry...sure...go 26. Otherwise, I don't see the upside of the 26 over the 19. I ankle carried for years with a 26. Shooting wise though...I prefer the 19.

The 19 is a weird size for me and I'm not a huge fan. 26 carries easier. 17 fits my hand better and has more barrel/ sight radios.
For me, the best combo is a 17 for bedside and range fun, and the 43 to carry. |
