The sugar-free kind. Rockstar, Red Balls, Monster, etc. How unhealthy is daily consumption? Long term effects? Keto friendly?

Are Energy Drinks Bad For You? (What The Science Says) Ha "Just because something comes from nature, doesn't necessarily mean it's good for you. Sharks come from nature" |
I knew a guy that drank about 6 monsters a day. Died from lung cancer at age 30.
Fitaid, Kill Cliff, strong coffee. You don't need monster or red bull.
Well if you ask the flight suit guy at the NATTC pensacola safety fair they will kill you.
I wondered about that too, but then keto gave me the energy to not need them.
I went from 2 a day to none. They can’t possibly be good for you. |
Cant be good for you
I drink the red bull Had one just a bit ago Feels good man |

Our molding processing guy at the shop here probably drinks at least three to four of those, along with a pack of cigarettes in a ten hour shift.

I used to drink 3 Monster Rehabs a day. Quit 4 months ago and feel alot better. YMMV.

Yep. I have one morning coffee and rarely go beyond that during the day. After a while it works wonders. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
Quoted: Just quitting caffeine gave me a lot more energy. I can actually function after lunch time again. Figured I had to hit the reset button. The day I stopped I had to pour a big floor, my head was pounding all day. A week later I felt great though, and even though I enjoy the taste of coffee and a hot drink in the morning, I basically put everything away so I wouldn't be tempted to make it. I fill the hot drink gap with honey and lemon or sometimes hot chocolate. |

Google "John Higgins energy drinks"
He's a cardiologist at the medical school I went to. He does a ton of research in to them. tl;dr: they're bad for you. |
It's all relative....
It is my one bad habit. I drink 1 Monster per day. It is the only caffeine each day and it is the only thing I drink that isn't straight water. I drink one gallon of water per day. I have been doing this for at least 10 years. No health problems of any kind, normal labs yearly, and normal BP. |

Monsters make my skin itch if I drink a whole can. Pretty much stopped drinking them
I feel safe to say, if he was smoking them, he was "doing it wrong"...
I love the Monster energy drink in the white can. I treat myself once a week.

A friends daughter died from a lvad heart in 2013.
She was only 19... She drank like several a day....but was a competitive player for Kansas State. She was from Oregon. |

I personally know of two very healthy gym rats, as the term goes, who died in their mid 20’s of heart attacks. They were not roid ragers but drank the energy drinks like mad.
If they were bad for you, they wouldn’t be so delicious... ergo... GOOD TO GO.

Same for me. A large BulletProof covfefe in the morning and I'm good all day. This is now officially another Keto thread. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

Some of those drinks have bull piss or semen in them. Not sure what one.

It's what plants crave! View Quote I had a friend who said in Iraq their energy drink of choice was "wild tiger" they're made in Jordan. He still had a few and had me try one, it was very tasty however I don't drink energy drinks, or even coffee. Water is cheaper. |

I worked with a guy who drank 3 rockstars and then had some type of heart problem on the job.
you can't have heart issues in tunneling so he was laid off asap. |
My doc says they're bad.
The last time I saw him he told me that caffeine has a half-life of 6 hours. It takes 12 hours to get it all out of your system. |

How bad would say 2 bronkaids and a Bang energy drink every day be for you? Asking for a friend
These Bang drinks are hard for me to comprehend... 300mg caffeine with 0 sugars/calories/fat/carbs and some of them taste excellent. Seems too good to be true. They do have sucralose though. |
Not quite a year after I started drinking them I wound up with Afib, but I have
no idea if there is a relationship or just a coincidence. |

Have you ever just picked up a can and looked at the info... it's not just caffeine.
Those things are loaded with carbs/sugar... Looking at Amazon. 1, 8.4oz can of regular Red Bull 110 calories 27gr of Sugar 150mg of Sodium 8 ounces? How many do you drink a day? If you go by the "food chart" we were all spoon fed in school, the recommended sugar intake per day, is 28gr... You basically just nuked your entire recommended sugar intake for the entire day, with that one drink... a drink that really offers nothing else other than calories and sugar. |
