Saw this guy back in the early 1980s at a tractor pull in NC where a buddy was running his tractor.  He and Dennis Anderson were friends and did a lot of horse trading for my buddy's collection of big block Chevy parts over the years.  When pulling tractors all went to multiple engine my buddy sold out to Dennis and walked away from all aspects of motorsports.

I always liked the Shafers trucks too.
Bear foot was probably my second favorite behind Bigfoot.
Ive still got this picture floating around here somewhere framed from my first rally as a kid. I must have only been 6 or 7.

This. And Everett Jasmer never sold out to the "pro wrestling" style monster truck stuff that followed the collapse of the real MTRA.

I remember that type of commercial.  Around St. Louis it was truck pull events, and in a deep voice he'd say Exhibition by BIIIG...FOOOOOOOTTT!

Grave Digger still tours with Monster Jam, and seems to be the crowd favorite.

Not sure if many of you have been to a Monster Jam with your kids in the last few years, but some of the things the drivers do are insane.  Last time we went, two trucks rolled completely over, and one caught fire.

So jelly of you guys that get to see them in that big of an arena.  I can go to the Coliseum but it is just so small they can only do so much.  Oh well the nephew loves it.

It's definitely better in a big venue. I saw Bigfoot in a small place in St. Louis, and they can't even really get on it. Still cool to see and hear them though.

Not many pics from this year. I didn't take the camera, and just used my phone. Most of the pics are of the drivers in the stands, doing interviews and give-aways with the kids.

No pics from 2019. I don't remember ever going, and not taking pics even if they were no good.

Here's 2020 pics. I hope they start doing Monster Jam again. It would normally be this month or next.

After winning, Ryan Anderson came up in the stands and walked around talking with people.

@bird333

I'm guessing that you're talking about the tires on Bigfoot 5. They're from an Alaskan Land Train, and Bigfoot bought them from a junk yard.
