Bright | Official Trailer | Netflix Bright | Official Trailer 2 [HD] | Written by MAX LANDIS Directed by DAVID AYER | Netflix |
Looks cool.. but I have issues supporting an actor like him after some of the things he's said of late...
I saw that come across my Netflix last night.
My initial and only reaction was: [Lana Kane] NOPE. [/Lana Kane] My tolerance for Will Smith movies, even non-"Big Willy Style" movies, is below zero. |

Wasnt this already done? Remember Alien Nation? View Quote Meh, I liked Alien Nation, I'll prob try this out. It's already greenlit for a sequel. Maybe Gandalf goes rogue and Will Smith has to take him down. |
It's the sort of retarded fantasy movie I'd want to see except they accidentally cast Will Smith in it.
Also Alien Nation. BTW look up "Cast a Deadly Spell" on Youtube, it's a quasi fantasy thing like this except actually good, although trash.... |

Horrible review on Daily Beast but a lot of it is sjw whining

Look, they made a Shadowrun movie and didn't pay a dime for the rights.

Man.. after Suicide Squad and now this, I think David Ayer had only 1 good film in him and he used it up with Training Day.

James Caan Mandy Pastinkin Alien Natin remake + MIB sans Tommy Lee Jones?
Watched it this morning, it was remarkably forgettable and I'm being nice.

The Atlantic has been sliding way off that deepens the past few years as well - a much older brand, losing itself to derp. It’s as if a media source can’t exist in the current era unless it clearly flies a flag identifying its team in the “culture wars.” I really don’t see the whining in that, though -but you can tell the author is bracing for backlash and needing to signal his awareness of existing whining. |

The 5-second teaser looked interesting. I watched the trailers, and decided I'm OK not having SJW shoved down my throat at every opportunity, especially given that the plot looked awful and acting weak.
Wow, so it's an SJW wet dream and an Alien Nation ripoff. That sounds about as gay as two dicks in a knot.
Good for a Netflix film. I would never have paid to see it in theaters.
Was hoping this was in the Shadowrun universe when I first heard about it.
EDIT: and I’m late to the party. |
I just watched it, don't waste your time unless you have time to waste. Tarded and sjw..
Elves were the best part. Wil Smith plays the same character in every movie as of late. The orc was funny.

Watched it tonight. Not outstanding, but I liked it. Good to turn the mind off for a couple of hours every once in a while. It wasn't as preachy as I was expecting.

I dunno, I liked it. Yeah, the first five minutes they laid it on with a trowel, but after that, they played it straight.

Newsweek’s another place that’s gone ful SJW lately. I get the impression that reporter is trying to stay alive and keep his integrity in what he sees as a very restricting environment. He’s essentially apologizing for liking the movie for what it is. |

Rap music still alive and well in the future. I am disappoint. Not into anything Will Smith related anymore since him and his family have shown us how full tilt nuts they are but I'll probably check out an episode or two.
Just got done watching it, thought it was ok...I’m also on my 6th mixed drink
It wasn't bad. As much as they laid down the background of the story---this should've been a 12-13 episode mini-series instead of a 2 hours movie.
I kinda liked it. |
Just finished it. Im conflicted.
I liked it. Descent story line for a flick, you can fairly easily pick up on the backstory without having to have a long drawn out monologue. Effects were good, and I personally enjoy the new banter style of movies that are being made. But there are definate "orc is the new black, and all cops are dirtbags accept for the minority ones" (the only two "good cops" in the entire fucking movie are the black one and the Mexican one...and the orc). And then there is the only pale skinned fantasy race having the best part of town and "running the world".... and making a point of driving from the slums to the "white" part of town for dramatic affect. like i said... conflicted. |
It was okay could of been better.
Will Smith plays Will Smith a Will Smith like character that gets in Will Smith like drama. Liked certain things especially the elves and the wands. |
