I love mine. I bought one years back and for some stupid reason, I sold it. Always regretted letting it go so I tried to replace it with a Benelli M1S90 but it just wasn't the same. Last year I bought another M4, decked it out and have no plans to ever let it go.
My Benelli M4 would be the first gun I grabbed if, God forbid, a home invasion. |

M4's are kick ass, but the M2 is cheaper and just as kick ass w/o the pump option. The inertia system may kick some more, but it's a shotgun not a .22.

I'm not a shotgun guy at all, in fact I own exactly one which is the Benelli M4. I know there are other shotguns that are debatably as good or better than it in any category, but it's still an all around excellent package. Plus, those other alternatives aren't a Benelli M4.
One day I'll go to an extreme with that logic and end up with a doofy yet insanely cool SPAS to compliment it. |

We've had a Benelli M4 on our range for OVER four years and not once has it gone offline from parts failure. We only get a maximum of two months out of our Remington 870's and Mossberg 500's and 590's and the old saying.. "you get what you pay for" is 100% true when it comes to the Benelli. BTW, our Benellli has tens of thousands of buckshot through it.
