Was doing PT one evening in the Army and we were running by this helicopter air field.  Hueys were taking off and landing, thumping the air around us, sun was setting, and our DS busted out this version of We Will Rock You in cadence.  Probably one of the most favorite runs I've ever had.

Flick of the Wrist

Don't Stop Me

In the Lap of the God.... Revisited

The sad thing about Queen was a lot of their good stuff never gets radio play. Also, Brian May played so many outside notes and made his solos sound so good. Marty Friedman from Megadeth really liked him for that reason.

This! FUCKING THIS!

Who wants to Live Forever, Princes of the Universe, Hammer to Fall, and One Year of Love get honorable mentions... Highlander was a staple movie in my house growing up.

My vote too.  I'm 53 and it was just last year sometime that I really paid attention to the lyrics. It struck me hard as modern society is today.  Here a website I found with some interesting opinions on the song itself.

You people that say "Under Pressure" must be smoking meth...that has to be their WORST song ever!!! I'd rather listen to Ice Ice Baby than Under Pressure!!!

Correct answer is Fat Bottom Girls!!!

I wish like all hell there was a full version of this song.   As I understand it, very oddly, Freddy did not like this song.....and they only recorded what was needed for the soundtrack.

DAMMIT!!!

This. Aside from it's use in cheesy movies and such, making the song seem cheap and silly... it's quite a complex song, and is the product of amazing talent.

I still rock out to it every time I hear it.

I agree most wholeheartedly with the first line.

'Ever' is a big word.  Sooner or later someone will top Freddie, it's the nature of things.  Hasn't happened yet, though.

For those of you who are huge Brian May fans....he really gets into some great technical talk on the "Red Special"

Start at 12:50 for Brian discussing "Red"....but the whole vid ( including the stuff with Brian's tech ) is really interesting.
