Dude, that's as fucking ghetto as spinners and pants around your thighs. The only way you could make it more ghetto is to wash it down with purple Faygo.

It's not ghetto because your mom fed it to ya, it's ghetto because a ghetto picnic pot luck will feature at least 6 different dishes of Mac & Cheese, and 4 packs of hot dogs.

Used to be mayo but i'm starting to dig the mustard.

BTW:  the yellow mustard goes on a plate of Lay's potato chips not that other stuff.

Empty all almost empty chip bags into one container- consume
Chop hotdogs into showboat pork and beans
Take left over hamburger, ground or patty, heat in frying pan, lay mozzarella cheese over it and hunts tomato sauce eat on white bread
Left over pizza slices, put budding lunch meat in between two slices, pizza sandwich

When you have a large poor Italian family 2 things are certain with food- there will be left overs, there's all pizza in the fridge and it does not get thrown away until its hard enough to be a wheel chock for a large aircraft.

Haven't had this in a long time, but take a can of Cream of Mushroom soup (don't add water) and add a can of tuna (drained)...heat it up, then pour over toast.

Deer Camp Ghetto:

Hot dutch over, couple spoon fulls of oil

Add two russet potatoes, shredded very coarsely, cook until browned but not mushy.

Crack two or three eggs into the spuds, mix around to cook like eggs in fried rice.

When eggs are ready, dump in a can of Van de Camps' Pork & Beans. Mix and heat until beans are warm.

Pepper to taste and try not to eat so much that you can't get up and walk away.

You need to butter the bread on both sides though. My mom used to make that for me when I was a kid just because, not for ghetto reasons. Best to use a upside down glass to cut the hole out. It's actually pretty good, especially if you don't break the yolk.

Me too. It's tasty and is something different than just eggs with a side of toast. I like to make the cut out center piece with some cinnamon and sugar.

When I was a po', po' college student, one of my favorite ghetto meals was to take some rice, throw it in my microwavable rice cooker (that thing made awesome rice), along with a can of chunk chicken, and for taste, squirt in some Dijon mustard, pepper to taste. Made a nice little spicy casserole.

Microwave rice, add can of tuna (fancy albacore in water which probably invalidates the "ghetto" aspect). Season with soy sauce.  Yum.

Spam fried crisp, wonder bread, mustard.  Yum.

Fry pepperoni until crisp.  Blot off (whatever the hell cooks out of it...).  Fry two eggs, omlette style adding pepperoni and shreded cheese.  Fold over and sprinkle with Franks Hot Sauce.  Good and good for you!

What I might try is StoveTop with cream of mushroom and canned chicken over the top.  Mini-Thanksgiving dinner!

Great thread.

Hit the White Castle drive thru after cashing in five bucks worth of bottles is about as ghetto as it gets. Not necessarily lazy because it's a couple trips before you eat but yet you still don't feel like opening anything like a can, box or bag or cleaning so much as one dish or utensil before or after eating.

A couple years ago my dog got sick.

The vet had us make fried hamburger mixed with white rice as a bland diet for the dog.

Well,  my kids started to eat it, and liked it, SO

we now have "dog food" for dinner once in a while.

As a treat we throw in some seasonings to the rice.

Cook 1/2 to 3/4 of a cup of white rice. While rice is cooking, fry up half a can of corned beef hash.  When corned beef hash is nice browned and crispy on both sides the rice should be just about done. Dump the hash onto rice and use the hash grease to cook up an egg or two. Toss eggs in with the hash rice mixture and top with shredded cheese and hot sauce.

Also sriracha spam fried rice, or spam eggs and rice.

Another one I just remembered from a girl I knew in college.
HEB or Wallyworld, buy the biggest bag of pre-made salisbury steak you can find.
Cook a few of those and while that is going on, heat up some minute white rice.
Combine the two and throw some kraft singles on top, cup up and mix everything around. Surprisingly, not bad. Just, not great either

Or melt cheddar cheese onto white bread in the microwave. Cheese sandwiches. If I am more motivated, grilled ham and cheese in the skillet.
